Wow, this game has me very excited. SoTN is my favorite game of all time and I have been waiting for a new Castlevania to come close to that experience for a long time. To have Kojima working on my favorite series gives me hope that it can actually happen. I'm saddened that this is not a 2d game, but I guess that would go against the current industry standard of pushing the envelope with 3d graphics. If they do this game right, I will be extremely satisfied.
Sony won this year, hands down.

He is telling a slanted truth or better known as a "spin". The Wii does sell the most 3rd party games overall but the 360 will sell more of a multiplatform 3rd party game. Bigger userbase + way more shovelware = more sales.
Terrible conference, but better than last year at least. Metroid looks ok and I will definitely try the new super Mario brothers. Everything else was "meh." Can't wait to see what Sony has for us. :P
I have the japanese demo. What could possible make this game a 3.5? Is there no love for 2d jrpgs in this world anymore? I felt the game was a 7 or 8 from the demo and I will still be picking it up. Clements might have been off on this one...

Verant Entertainment (Brad McQuaid) actually made Everquest. Sony was only the publisher at first but then they bought out Everquest and made it suck. Well Rallos Zek anyway (No more item loot). But yes, Everquest imo is the best MMO ever created. My Wii has owned ebay quite a few times. For some reason I keep having the urge to buy it again and then about a week later, it ends up on ebay again. Go figure. Why do people still defend the Wii by saying "Oh yeah, well Wii is beating PS3 in console sales worldwide!!!" Does it even matter anymore? 360 getting beat 5 to 1. In every other territory the 360 isn't even beating the PS3 2 to 1. Once it gets a price cut, MS will be in last place.

I hope so. People need to wake up. The Wii isn't all it was cracked up to be. The only thing stopping the PS3 from winning in most markets is the price which will come down soon.
