I love a wide variety of rpg s. star ocean 2 and final fantasy xii being my favorite (FFXII is the only FF i have played) but I have started playing the free version of a sci-fi mmorpg called Anarchy Online.Play it people its awesome.
we've all been impressed with hhow fast the wii overtook sony and microsoft, but i still don't think it will be able to keep up the pace to stay on top.
many people bash the game for being too short, but i dont think it matters to most people. while i loved final fantasy xii (played it over 100 hrs)i dont really have the time to put into a game anymore.im having more fun with games that are quicker to get into and finish. I visited my brother last week a nd we played mortla kombat 3 on an ol snes. zero depth,awesomely fun.
used to play my friends dreamcast,and was blown away until i got a ps2.It was a great system but wasnt released at the right time. TO this day people still claim that the dreamcast was better in every way , including graphically, than the ps2. lol.
Star ocean 2 was the first rpg i ever played (i thought they were too boring before) It remains one of my all time favorite games. Sadly, I lost the first disc so i cant go back and play it. :( oh well pleasant memories. Anyways, if anyone is looking to get into playiing rpg's then that game is where to start, if you can find it. I rank it right up there with FFXII (my other favorite rpg)
GTA San Andreas was amazing (though i preferred GTA III's mafia setting)
and the scale of the map was insane.I still pop it in the ps2 just to get cops to chase me through the desert. It was pretty empty though. Just because the new game wont have as big of a map though doesn't detract from it...just means whats there will be even better.

For some reason people love to see the big guy go down,or at least humbled. The same things are said about the Playstation brand. DOOOMED DOOOOOMED I SAY! I find it hard to believe that MS would go down anytime soon but anything can happen i guess.
its probably blown a little out of proportion, but still that was a weak argument.It was just kind of weird to have a random award for Ai to take a shot at killzone especially when he says that it wasnt based on play time with halo 3 since very few of them had played the single player.doesnt really make sense.
