I'm excited about this game, especially since i feel that the first Killzone was under-rated. As for the Halo comparison, yeah they're both fps but thats as much as they have in common.Halo is way more sci-fi and has a completely different mood and feel. That said, its only natural for them to be compared in quality since they are the big guns of the respective consoles.
well, I think its unfair to be censored but, I think Manhunt 2 pushed the envelope a little too hard on the violence.People are still adjusting to the fact that videogames can be used as art or statements just like movies.
gawd...is it too much to ask for some consistent scores from reviews? I mean a 6 and a 10 are a huge difference. Its hard to tell what is credible
anymore. then again, Ive always had a problem with following review scores,I mean what gives these people more authority than me to judge a game? I know it is just an opinion but I think its hard to accept a review from a person who probably has different tastes. I thought killzone, for example, was a great game despite all the average rev...
This reminds me of a game called rune on ps2.Looks more interesting though. To the above, assgard? thats like laughing at poop. heh...poop.
I got that damn disk read error after 5 years of nothing wrong.I just cracked it open and fixed it myself (yay internet)and its worked fine ever since.
Secret technologies made me shart myself :{O
hmmm...didn't expect this. Hey...maaaaaaaaybe it will catch up with DS!!
well maybe not.Oh well, still good news.
Take notes EA
Well at least we can all be happy that crysis is probably on its way to both consoles. The PC folks aint gonna be happy.
It looks good, but can it match the awesomeness of GT3, I hope so...
so its more of an editor along the lines of tony hawk skate park editor, rather than a map editor.a true map editor would have been awesome, but this is a cool idea.
Coming soon to Playstation 4
First and foremost I am insanely addicted to Metal Gear games, but besides those...
God OF War series
Tony Hawk
Jak and Daxter series (best platform/action games ...ever!)
GTA
FFXII
Oh and I also go through spurts of being addicted to Anarchy Online (AKA the poor man's sci-fi WOW, give it a try its free!!)
hmmm...Lair was always a graphical showcase, but I never thought of it as
a console defining PS3 title.More of a novelty, with the flying dragons and whatnot.I have a problem with the reviews judging the way the game controls however. The mixed control reviews (awesome & intuitive one review, mind blowingly frustrating the next)lead me to wonder if its just a matter of whether or not some of these reviewers "get it". Some people just cant play certain games. I kind of co...
I like how the article said it looked "marginally" better on 360 but not enough for a console superiority war. Obviously they underestimate how far this will be stretched lol. Anyways, I'd rather compare the finished products (is the ps3 demo the latest build or same from the last showing?) Either way I want this when i get a PS3 sometime next year.
uh, by the way DMC is awesome so don't bash it if you haven't played it.
I agree that cross platform is probably a bad idea, but ps3 vs ps3 noones going to notice the frame rate. Redfaction ran at 30fps and was an awesome game.
Does anyone really look at a game, and without anyone telling them, know its running at 30 fps? Look at metal gear solid 2 compared to MGS3. 30fps MGS3 looks much better (especially character models)than the 60fps MGS2. I dont remember having any stuttering while playing. If the developers do their job right (hint hint EA) then it shouldn't make an obvious difference.
-edit-
bullseye makes a great point above, but i think certain companies add problems (rushing sh*t) on top of ...
Dante better kick that gay nero's ass after that whuppin'
TC was kick ass in the arcades
C'mon people, thats impressive. But for love of god stop posting the huge tech posts to prove the ps3s power.Noone knows what that means. Anyway funny as hell the articles been pulled.oh, and yeah not even using the SPUs is a big deal.
