This article is missing what is possibly the actual best deal: Crysis 2 + 10,000 SYWR points ($10 credit), save $30 off a $50 PSN/4000MSP card, and $20 off Turtle Beach headsets at Kmart.
Really hoping to see Pump It Up from Uncharted 2 in SOCOM 4. :-D
I think this is the first article of its kind that I've ever seen...
Are you high? There is a massive difference between P2P and dedicated servers in games, especially shooters. Even if the host and all the players have 50mbps connections, all of that doesn't even matter if the host has horrid ping and/or packet loss; everyone will still be teleporting around the map. And don't even get me started on instances when the host leaves. Having dedicated servers allows the dev to patch things as they see fit anytime, allows freedom for players to join/leave ...
360 version is confirmed to be 1152x720.
Wow, this has got to be THE most ignorant statement I've seen on here in a while... and that takes a hell of a lot of ignorance to accomplish.
*Ahem*
360 gamers are the most ignorant people in the world and are not important. First, back when the PS3 was first released, they just go on and on about how the Ps3 has no games. Now, they're all like, "B-b-b-b-but teh multiplatz!" when the tables have turned. Crytek really should just go PS3/PC onl...
Good god, hit detection is horrendous. If there's one thing they ever get around to fixing, at least make that the #1 priority.
As for graphical fidelity, Crysis 2 does not hold up. At all. So much for "best graphics on consoles."
*goes back to playing BFBC2/KZ3*
PS: Oh, and LOT just found a bunch of differences in the demos for C2 on both platforms. Good going, Crytek.
THQ's stock price also fell 20% with the release of 'meh' reviews today. Not looking good. :-(
That would be due to the manufacturers of both consoles' GPUs. AMD's (formerly ATI)video cards have always rendered at a darker setting, and Nvidia does the exact opposite.
GTA's not supposed to be realistic...
There is a massive difference between KB and MB, bro. 1MB = 1024KB, and most saves are in the KBs (with the exception of some such as Fallout 3, which go into the 10s.)
McDowell was absolutely fantastic as Stahl. I'd love to see him take part in more video game acting.
I would hate to see this guy review Demon's Souls...
EDIT: Wait no never mind, I'd actually love to see him do so. That'll only show just how pathetic western "gaming journalism" has become.
I'm kinda glad I never got into the argument stage, after seeing the multitudes of that here. Using logic and actual facts to disprove the rabid fanpeeps is more enjoyable to me. :-D
Ooooh... that is a sick bern.
"Kon generally supports the PS3 but in this case he said something which sounds negative (to the loyalists) so they immediately attack him by calling him a fanboy or troll."
wat
No he doesn't. He does not own one in the first place.

@Focker420
Out of his ass, like the many other Xbots here.
So jack, were you on that ship searching for those fabled 360 exclusives?
If so, you must've come back empty-handed.
@FailOverHero
Even VGChartz has UC2 at around 4.5 million right now... and we all know how much they love to not update their stuff...
Hmmm. Looking at the detailed stats, the lowest framerate dip for each console was 25 for PS3 and 20 for 360. I'd say each has its tradeoff: a more consistent but lower overall average FPS with Vsync for PS3, and some minor screen tearing and less consistent framerate for a higher average FPS.
