Ummm, is it just me, or are those "replies" just copy-pasted stuff from the PS Blog? :-\
SOCOM 4 with the Dualshock 3 feels incredibly unnatural and stiff. Playing it with Sharpshooter feels so good, even though you'll suck very badly in the first 2 hours or so before getting used to it.
Skyrim isn't using the 10 year-old and horrendously buggy Gamebryo engine. That already makes it leagues better than Oblivion.
It's better because it does absolutely everything XBL does and more, not to mention the digital download service, and that all of it is free. Also, you install things because it's on PC.

Cross-platform chat has been confirmed for a while now. Valve created a codec specifically for this.
Plus, believe it or not, text chat is a big part of PC gaming, considering the keyboard is right there and all, unlike consoles.
Infamous 2 looks to have a whole lotta "speed" that's not limited to just running though. Look at this old trailer from last year:

Old trailer though, so Cole doesn't look like that in the final game.
DAT DUCK FACE!
I know I'm kinda LTTP here, but I just picked up Yakuza 3 on the cheap and I gotta say, I'm loving the hell out of it. Can't wait to pick up Y4 after reading all of the super positive reactions on the NeoGAF thread.
@kaveti6616
I guess you missed the "trollface.jpg" part...
Oh dear god. That would be the end of my social life and the beginning of my digital Persona social life <3.
So how's that Halo in sub-HD?

Wouldn't be surprising. Expanding to another platform = more money for Activision, so I don't see why they wouldn't do it.
Funny joke, bro.
...oh wait, you're serious? wut?
"is that you scoring an obviously great game so low for a reason."
Ummmmmm....
"its just that im loking forward to this game"
So apparently, you haven't even played it yet. Actually play a good chunk of it and maybe own it before you start to defend some "great game" from an OPINION on the internet. As for my score, I've laid out nearly every reason of why I think it's subpar in the review. Did you actua...
Well, considering I currently own and play KZ3, Counter-Strike: Source, and BFBC2, and have owned pretty much all the CoDs since 3, owned BFBC1, looking forward to BF3, Brink, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution, then yea. I'd say I'm an FPS fan.
Hold on, so just because I write a review with a low score highlighting what I view as good and bad for a game you're looking forward to, it automatically makes it a low quality review? Man, people make me laugh sometimes.
I am not. This is by no means an attempt to troll. Would you like picture proof of my copy?
Oh, and opinions, can't I have them?
Probably not. It obviously costs Sony money maintain servers and whenever a certain amount of data is downloaded. 150MB x millions of PS3 owners = astronomical fees for Sony.
Pop-in isn't much of a surprise. Crytek definitely had to make a lot of sacrifices for the real-time lighting Crysis 2 pulls off on consoles.
See, the problem with expecting 60fps with every new gen of game consoles is that graphics are always evolving. Of course, graphics back in 2005 aren't as intensive as what we see now, so they could probably be run at 60fps on current consoles. However, what was "great" in 2005 is "meh" now, so devs need to push consoles harder and make sacrifices, the first of which to be scaled down will always be framerate.
That 7 second bow equates to several thousand hugs.
All is forgiven, Sony.
