is that because it cant get any worse?
I think that's what bungie and turn 10 are trying to do with recording features, crackdown's rocket tag is user created. But user created content like a mod is a lot harder to do on a console then on a pc, if any coding has to be done, or modeling you're going to be stuck trying to do that with the gamepad unless you have a keyboard and mouse, and that doesn't sound like fun. The last problem is that with making a mod for a game, there's also the possibility that you will be getting a lot mo...
turn 10(forza)
lionhead(fable)
bungie(they also have games like marathon)
rare(banjo, pd etc)
mistwalker(blue dragon)
fasa studios(mechassault)
realtime worlds
ensemble(halo wars, age of empires)
pgr, splintercell, mass effect, too human, etc
microsoft amassed an arsenal of titles, and developers for the xbox and windows live games.
and I also disagree I thought halo to be very innovative, but hey different tastes ...
they may be done by bungie and they do a different story arch, maybe a different spartan.
*cancels subscription.* they're going to ruin the potential like the did eq, swg... not happy about this.
I loved those games, we're great fun with friends riding abound trying to blow each other up.
it looks like something from a 2 year old game. i bet that the mountain could look just as good in dx9 if they put more effort into how they texture it.
you just have to read the guidlines. Like there's no rumored games. So a game like rfom2 wont be in the list because it hasn't been formally announced.
deep, no offense but you're a pretty petty fanboy. I know I'll probably be flamed but whenever someone says something even slightly offensive to the console of your choice (ie ps3) you're the first one to come in, and try to make it sound positive, yet you never back the 360 or wii. Sheesh it's a toy. I doubt you even own any of the new consoles.
edit
yup, thanks for proving my point.
Another big thing i noticed is that much of the ps3 list is first party games, maybe indicating that thrid party developers aren't exactly ready to jump on the ps3 bandwagon yet.
I also like the "Microsoft's system also the most proven franchises in their unreleased list and several new properties coming from high profile development houses like Mass Effect, Alan Wake and Halo Wars. What all of this means is that an Xbox 360 exclusive is more likely to be a good game than...
far more diverse, and interesting than the ps3 lineup with a lot more titles that interest me.
360 gets played at least 3 or 4 times as much as any other console in my house. I find the wii better for friends/family that hang out for a while.
fanboys crying about beta graphics will occur may 17th, at 12:01.
I hate how they keep talking about the graphics. Most games don't go public till they are near gold, and if you think microsoft will let their flagship game fail in terms of graphics... then you're just stupid. Halo will look fine.
last I heard they were using the 360 version for demoing so...
supposedly the 65nm ones are blowing away the competition, or at least that's what the inq is saying.
ever heard of the wingman? how about the hdd in a console?... Maybe you head of sl, garry's mod?
Thats where the ps3 controller came from - microsoft and logitech
thats where the ps3 hdd camefrom - xbox
thats where home came from - linden labs
thats where little big planet gamefrom - garry's mod
Sony is the master at copying, and hyping. Sorry.
that would absolutely great if they got second life on the console, but only if it was a game and not required. I love building and gambling in that game.
that was saying the ps3 version of pe6 is 3 times better than the xbox version. BOGUS, square said they wont make it, because it would take roughly 7 years and a budget in the high millions.
Infact I only play rts, fps, and maybe an rpg or 2 on the pc. I have everything from gunz to bf2, to wolfenstien to steam and most of the games on it, in total I have over 20 FPS's for the pc and 6 rts. I even try mapping for css. And I KNOW halo is in extremely good fps.
I think vista will sell more in a year or 2 when hardware prices are down a little, and a couple updates fix some of the compatibility problems, and driver issues. All in all the system is pretty nice.
