I've only seen mixed reviews about lair and heavenly sword, that's not something to be extremely glad about. I would wait and see because as of right now I don't see the games selling as well as people think they will.
the longer it takes to get these games out, the larger the gap gets, and the harder it is to close.

After the first couple of weeks I don't see home able to keep people interested. In the end people have a system to play games, and they wont want to walk around a virtual world so they can get to play a game, they'd rather get straight to it.

wow... you must be slow. This game was first announced as a multiplatform so it couldn't be written for the ps3. I think there's also going to be a pc version. And this game will likely come out for the 360 as a timed exclusive.
that's my only peeve is that it's the developers are leaving the door open. Instead of saying "360 version will not change the ps3 game" or whatever they said. Why not just say, "this game is a ps3 exclusive" without the "as of right now" or "we are developing this game as" both lead fanboys to believe that the game might be multi-platform. Kojima said that the ps3 is a theater, but everything from a theater is put on dvd like 4 months later.
i have 2 friends that had their 360 break, and one with a ps3 crapout on them. All electronics will have some that fail, the ps3 is no different. My friend with the ps3 is far more upset because he paid 600 for it and it broke already, 6 months in, the 360 were launch boxes and both have been replaced.
i love my wii60. It was just the smartest thing to get.

another highstakes game, or porsche unleashed like game. I love having to repair your car after you mess it up, makes you drive harder but also weigh the risks and know the tracks better.

I tried to find one but couldn't. I think they killed it because it was costing even more money, not because no one was buying it.
I don't think sony has a single title that can match nintendo(pokemon, mario, zelda, metroid, ssb). Of the titles that will make the ps3 what it is, they all belong to third party companies(mgs, ff, gta).
that's the problem. People will already have the nintendo wii, or the 360. By the time these games come out that make the ps3 worth the price(specifically ff, since it's really the only title known to casual gamers along with gta, halo and mario). People will already be enthralled with titles on a system they already own. You can't sell hardware without software. You can't sell software without hardware.
I think they forgot that xbox live started on the xbox, there was no free service.
didn't make nothing good since goldeneye. Though some of his team did help with pdz. Timesplitters was eh. I'll wait for the reviews.
