Considering it is prologue and came out individual from GT5, it doesn't need to be half a game. It is a game -- though it only features a fraction of what GT5 will bring, it was still released, priced and played like an actual stand-alone game.
This is one of those things you only dream to hear about in the media, a rich notorious man losing everything he worked for. It's like an oil company CEO losing everything he had, someone who doesn't care about us and only money -- losing the only thing he cares about. I love it.
This is pretty much the first online game of metal gear, I'm not surprised. However for it being the first it has definitely surpassed many games in terms of quality. MGO is awesome even if you do have to sit around a couple of rounds to actually figure stuff out, it's not exactly an FPS online game nor is it an MMO so it has its own style of play. Anyone can go into an FPS game and immediately know the controls/layout etc. etc. of the game. MGO is just a different style of game altogethe...
That's all I saw, I can't believe he's trying to pass Halo 3 as one that we'd want. I'm sorry but played 1 fps played em all in a sense. I played Halo 1, and Halo 2 a couple times and Halo 3, but it's all the same. I like to venture out to other FPS games to see what they're like. So far the only franchise to ever really change anything in their FPS games are Call of Duty and Medal of Honor. However Halo...it's still the same 3 games down the line.
It keeps people from creating multiple accounts for no reason and from glitching leader boards etc. etc. Not to mention it takes all of 2 minutes to get your ID and all of 10 seconds to enter it, save it, and never have to worry about it again.
1) Audio was compressed to fit on blu-ray. The disc also contains more than audio on it. Sony did not pay Kojima to keep this exclusive, in fact Kojima makes fun of the 360 on more than 1 occasion -- why would he do that? As far as I'm concerned there's only 3 parts of CoD4 that truly stood out to me. As for the 3 hours of game play -- yes it can be beaten in 3 hours. As for not using a walkthrough...who really needs to? There's only one way to go and one way to do it a walkthrough would seem utterly ridiculous.

CoD4 was game of the year unfortunately I don't see why either. As far as I knew games were rated on single player but I could be wrong.
As for Super Mario Galaxy I never played it but I've heard good things.
With Resistance 2 the problem is it's exclusive and CoD5 is not exclusive. CoD5 will be more popular on the xbox 360 but it's arrogant to say that PS3 owners won't buy it. Some people like the more realistic shooter than the futuristic version.

I think they're waiting for the new 40gb hardware. Last I checked Sony was creating BC (backwards-compatibility) for the 40gb, so why push it out now with MGS4 when they're putting out a better one soon in which you could have MGS 1/2/3 and play them on the 40gb along with your new MGS4.
