I'm not too sure whether they'll do it. It's a big release so I'd assume they want to be able to brag about the European and American sales records and don't want to risk the sizes because of importing.

I really can't wait to install this on the old Xbox 360 HDD and get stuck in. I'm hoping MS is still in it's shopping spree feeling and pays out for some DLC to keep me going.
This is exciting stuff.
While lacking an art style like LBP, I'm very much hoping that this kind of perspective leads to larger things, like more expansive gameplay and such. Hopefully MS can include a massive variety of tools that effect everything, right down to the physics and changing the landscape, etc.

I remember Sakaguchi discussing the topic of the game, saying he wanted to create a game that could force you to cry, be it through sadness or happiness, trying to get you to feel massive emotion every 30 or so minutes.
It sounded amazingly interesting and would of loved to see some form of outcome. I hope this news is false.

So far, yeah, it seems exclusive.
Everyone was waging it would be on the PS3 because it was on Sony consoles prior. To my knowledge though, this is the very start of the story arc in the series, much like DMC has its chronology backwards, so it would make little to no difference.
If anything, references would be missed, but so far, it looking to be exclusive in some form or another.
Anyone else notice that? Normally, in fact always in trailers, if it's muliti-platform they never put in any siding at the end, probably out of fear of lawsuits.
If anything it may be just timed-exclusive, but with MS's money and with the way Bach and everyone has been charging on it wouldn't suprise me if they paid extreme amounts for this.
