What's Quantum Break?
Amazing that there is still so much confusion and marketing manipulation about a mainstream 4K game system (and games—though this should be an obvious requirement of stated game system).
Just nope.
It's painfully time to admit that Bungie put more into programming Halo than coding. And that 343, however talented, are doomed to come up short. Maybe it's time to create a new 'system seller.' (Kind of like how PlayStation seems to do with every next generation console.)
Okay, N4G_4Life is now on my post of sensationalize extremest writers to avoid. Uncharted 4 did not come close to almost "sucking." Also, being "common" and "sucking" are not the same thing.
I'm going off my experience as a cinematography student who uses SD cards for video capture. It's common practice to have multiple medium sized cards as opposed to a couple extremely large ones. This even expands into NLE with chaining multiple hard drives.
This is the epitomy of putting a lot of eggs in one basket. Probably safe, but I'd still be nervous.
Sometimes it seems as though kids are writing these opinion pieces and articles. What self-respecting author would publish such an obviously inaccurate offering?
Is this what happened to Scalebound? Was shrunken so small it disappeared?
All loathing of Microsoft aside, removing unnecessary elements (like language packs) is a great idea that I could see gaining widespread adoption.
There are only two paths to success:
One. Same quantity output from the game developers responsible for the 3DS' success.
Two. At least seventy-five percent support from those developers that supply third-party titles for the PlayStation 4 and XBOX One.
Anything less will see the Switch become only a mildly more successful system than the Wii U. Despite the incredible start the Switch has had it's simply not going to compete wit...
Serves them for buying from scalpers.
Not sure if this was mentioned in this specific article, but: On top of the Nintendo Classic news is that Super Nintendo Classic launch day units are being upped to more than all the NES Classics shipped total. Finally, a score against the scalpers. (Especially the scumbag trash that used software to auto-purchase dozens-if-not-hundreds of pre-orders online as soon as the option was made available.)
Not sure how this hasn't started trending in a top spot, but Nintendo announced more Nintendo Classic are coming. If that wasn't enough, more Super Nintendo Classics are being shipped for launch day (to make-up for pre-order effect shortages) than all the Nintendo Classics shipped total. Glad to see scalpers have to choke down that loss. Especially the ones who used auto-software to buy up stock the minute it was offered online.
Indirectly related, more Nintendo Classic are coming as well as the fact that more Super Nintendo Classics are being shipped for launch day to make-up for pre-order effect shortages. How much more? More than all the Nintendo Classics shipped total.
It's easy for a few aggressively loud XBOX fans to seem as though they represent a large portion of the gamer community, when, in fact, they don't. Hopefully, one day soon, angry stubbornness will subside and the ultimate point and allure of gaming will allow them to understand why PlayStation is so beloved—if they don't already secretly know so.
The FPS increase from the Pro is night and day difference to the base-spec PS4. Oddly, there also seed to be a brightness/contrast difference, as well.
Everything needed to know? Whatever you already know. (These articles have become super annoying.)
This is at least a hint that Nintendo might be planning on making enough for all those who want one.
Battle's not over, yet. Mario, Zelda, Pokemon and shovelware aren't enough to keep selling thirty million+ systems to be deemed a mainstream success in the big video game picture.
In short, we need to let Nintendo know we need the software support systems like PlayStation have.
Car Games Have Always Been the "Can It Run Crisis?" (Fixed that title for ya'.)
