Needs a good month-to-month bar/mountain chart that goes all the way back to 'thirteen. Like to see what the past four holiday sales seasons has looked like. I have a feeling this one will at least be the third biggest—if not second.
After, what, three or four great months of PSN Plus content there is a chance we'll get a less-than-AAA month. Especially after frickin' Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I've put something like eighty hours into it already. (And the latest PS4 Pro patch makes it o'-so-smooth with draw distance for miles.)
Anyone use this with MacBook Pro?
Bound looks moderately amusing.
As a final-year cinematography student I'm excited to imagine where Naughty Dog is taking this video game genre. Every new game Druckmann and co bring to the table blends motion picture and video games more and more. Over the next couple of decades I think we're going to be in for a few groundbreaking treats..
Does Sony head the Tokyo Game Show, too?
Kind of seems obvious that it's not an "opinion"—it's a fact. Congratulations out to the hardest and most dedicated video game company the world has seen since Nintendo turned around gaming in the mid-eighties.

Have to admit, I was thinking like you until recently. I was worried before watching the entire Paris Game Week broadcast yesterday. Feels like PlayStation is treating its VR like its own platform—a platform Sony is dedicated to bringing more than just shovelware to.
In other words: the future looks completely solid for VR on PlayStation
Now, I don't know much about Oculus or Vive, though. But, I'd expect that...
I legitimately feel bad for XBOX gamers (maybe because I was one for ten years). Kind of hope either Microsoft would stop dragging them along and quit making consoles, or separate XBOX off into its own company ran by directors passionate about gaming. Something....
This train has evolved from hype to hits.
⏹️⛰️ lol. Nice.
'Nineteen is going to be a grand finale year for the fourth generation PlayStation. Which is kind of brilliant with the PS5 coming (very) soon thereafter. Actually, it would be a perfect time to release two versions of games of 'nineteen—Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding both on PS4 Pro and PS5.
I don't mind a three-or-four month push back—but, once a studio releases a street date I think it's overly unprofessional to push it out six months or longer.

Yeah, I'd imagine one, maybe two will get shifted to 'nineteen,—but, there are still so many coming to hold us over.
Sucker Punch did the Infamous series, yeah? In any case, (though it is early) Ghost of Tsushima looks like it could very-well-be a high nineties Metacritic score.
Have to admit, I was having a difficult time believing next year could be bigger than this. But, between the Switch and it's games; and PlayStation bringing the heat to VR; and games like Detroit: Become Human, Spider-Man, God of War, Days Gone, Last of Us Part II, it's definitely going to raise the bar, again.
Yowzers....how correct you are. Didn't even consider that. Good thinking.
I hope HDR makes the game.

You must not come here much...
Finally!.....
?
Glad I did. Smooth frame rate on nearly everything makes it worth it alone. Throw in '4K' and it's a no-brainer.
Plus, whenever the PS5 and the first slew of its games come, the PS4 Pro should get decent scaled-back versions (like Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on the PlayStation 3 did.)
What was holiday 'sixteen sales for PS4?
