@moldybread
I'm waiting for the sony fanboys to start reaching even further and say that MSVR headsets will give anything you're looking at to the NSA.
Like paying to play online? Yea, I laugh at that too.
Who said VR is a bad thing?
@spaceranger
"because you have way too much time on your hands."
And yet here you are. Maybe Sony needs to release more worthwhile exclusives?
More die hard sony fanboys complaining about MS and them advertising and explaining what they will have for their fans. I wonder if other companies show off and talk about upcoming features, products or devices? Oh yea, Sony!
If MS didn't talk about anything you all would be here saying how MS isn't saying anything and has no answer.
MS does show off something (at their own event by the way) and now you complain how they talk too much and about fu...
Spaceranger, could you show us some examples of their fanbase not caring about VR and now wanting to lead in? Or is this more generalization from a certain fanbase that are constantly moving goal posts and critizing every little thing the competition does?
It was pretty much a given that MS would reveal a VR headset soon. It's obvious that they will have something with the release of the powerful Scorpio.
I'm sure when that happens then you'll...
You read a couple of posts of people not being informed enough and now it's MS's fault and they were "forcing" Win 10 on people.
I bet you think MS is going to come to your house and force their VR on your face like you believe they did with Win 10.
But yea, let's also ignore the many forced updates and money hat tactics that made something or a product exclusive to Sony and every other company that has pulled the same thing on the ...
For now it's nothing more than a novelty experience. So of course Sony would provide the get in, get out experience for PSVR.
I'm sure as the tech grows and becomes less of an add on we may see more in depth, longer games. Unless VR is a one trick pony and people start to realize there's nothing real special about it. But from the looks of it, vr seems to be taking off for now.
It was a nice attempt but like most games released nowadays, especially on ps4, it was incomplete. All the while the defenders were begging gamers to wait for it to be a good game.
And for all the waiting Sony shuts down the studio because of it.
They tried to play with the big boys in the racing field but too many other racing games have come and completely blown this half attempt out the water. But what do you expect from a game that once again boasts g...
Japanese gamers buy japanese games on the more popular PS4 in Japan. That much is true, but other than that not much else outside of japan sells too well.
Despite what a certain fanbase always claims that it will do better on PS4. This is why we see a lot of jrpgs going to mobile and also well known japanese games not being made for the new gen.
If the sales were so good as claimed we would see a lot more japanese developers making games.
How is it forced? No diversity is even worse.
The main fan base is on Xbox. They should have kept it there and promoted it heavy for that system. Now they spread out their promotions and budget for two consoles and also catered to a certain fanbase that cried about no SP, even when they never played the game.
Now Respawn is seeing the results of trying to please everyone instead of making the game for the fanbase that got them their popularity.
What do you guys expect? JRPGS don't sell like western rpgs do. You have a few here and there but most of those thay do sell cater to a western audience.
Developing them for consoles is just too costly and they always look like ps3 titles. It's cheaper to make them for mobile handsets and not have to worry about great graphics, along with story, innovation, gameplay and anything else.
Expect to see a lot less jrpgs for consoles, despite what a cer...
That's really good news. MS is making sure that all features and every game is forward and backward from this point on. Truly looking out for the gamer instead of taking options and features away. Scorpio is going to be a beast of a machine and pretty much the definitive gaming machine.
Excellent, good to see the support and value of the xbox growing.
Great excuse, Sony PR, masters of spin.
Does this mean that launching PSPro early actually did cannibalize sales of the regular ps4 and possibly slim as many predicted?
So much for the excuse of if the game was on PS4 it would have sold better. Respawn should have kept it exclusive to the Xbox One.
Of course they will until and if the Switch is a hit. Then Nintendo will abandon it and let third party japanese devs make games for it like the Vita for example.
We'll see, lots of devs say this but then say "we were forced to" or backtrack on it.
Super cheesey. But better than rhe switch ad. Glad to see Sony is so proud to promote CoD instead of that "variety" I keep reading so much about. And advertising 30 day timed dlc, a page right from MS that was considered killing the industry.
@Shin-zan
Deadrising - capcom gave it to a western developer.
Resident Evil - has been westernized with each interation.
Dragons Dogma - Did so well that it never got a sequel and a MMO that may never come to the west.
Metal Gear Solid - Another game that did so well that Kojima left, and the next one is an online zombie shooter thay caters to the west.
Devil May Cry - Did so well that capcom gave ...
