better graphics don't make for better gaming experience,consoles win on that most every way. however NOT saying pc's aren't fun with games but aren't optimized for soley gaming like consoles primarily are,just saying...back off jer..I mean elitists,not talking to those who buy 5 thousand dollar pc's and all accessories,just regular peeps.
well ya might get something looking nice just from the o.s.,but nothing visually stunning like that of a console with dedicated hardware. not saying this new o.s. wont be something good for gamers,but for me,i want a complete device,ready to game. i dont want to build anything,thats not my thing with gaming
without dedicated hardware,all i see this as just a service for games,much like it already has,except with added features,which by the way PS4 / XB1 have with the hardware. had there been a console revealed (maybe its coming via the next couple of announcements?),then this would be something to really look forward too but as is,just is a service to put in existing devices (like it has been).

ok,i see what you're saying,others are saying its a console killer,which i've yet to see how. maybe if it were to be a console,i'd be more interested,i just dont game on pc's,was a hassle when i did some years ago,prefer consoles by far.

really!!? an o.s. is going to kill off consoles huh? Steam so far hasn't killed console gaming,how will it change that now? Half Life 3? Nah,played previous HL games and i left those games for new console games of the time. New consoles will have most all the features of Steam too,what advantage other than older pc games does this have? i admit if it has free online play,that will sway gamers,but most console gamers are used of paying to play (PS Plus / MS Gold)...
i'm like a few here,not getting the whole point to this,if ya already use Steam on a pc,how does this change your gaming scenereo much more than what you have already and not showing / telling what other systems / hardware it will be on confuses things. it certainly wont persuade current console gamers with this news,i like some was expecting a mini console to be revealed,not an add on service of some sort
this is how i'll play Vita games,i'm not a handheld gamer,plus have a way to play games and stuff on a 2nd tv screen

well i will always say BFBC2>BF3 but youre probably right about them not making BFBC3 anymore,certain peeps that made it are not with EA / Dice anymore. FYI,BF series (Battlefield 2: Modern Combat) had already been introduced to consoles last gen,i know because i played on the PS2 very often online. BFBC series not the same as regular BF series imo,will always be superior console franchise that Dice made,BF4 looks like BF3 with updated features / graphics / physics to me
