Mobile is absolutely huge in Japan, more so than here. Their mobile tech is far ahead of anything in the west. Not to mention low development costs.

Good, graphics are nice, but gameplay, design and fun factor are more important.
This is what the industry needs to focus on to keep gamers and consumers interest in the market.
I'm really curious to see what games MS has for Japan. But I really hope those games come to the west as the rumors of them being Japan only worry me.

I really doubt that, they saw a chance to get extra money and they took it, plain and simple, they're a business just like MS. The reason those F2P and other apps or not behind the paywall makes no difference because they know most will pay for Plus to get the full benefit of the console's features and AAA games. So placing those apps where ever doesn't matter.

There is no doubt Sony took the camera out of the package as a direct result of price and under cutting MS.
Which is why they didn't release the price of the system when they first revealed the PS4.
A very smart move to wait and see what your competition is doing and offering, and then one up them by taking out certain pieces to make your system cheaper.
