The real-time battles are easy enough, just move in formation when attacking or defend in formation. Just keep a formation so you know where you're at then just learn what units are good against what. The battle AI in TW games has never been a challenge, you'll soon be playing on legendary difficulty with little problem in time. Watch videos by LegendofTotalWar.
To be honest the only ones innovating and bringing out new is indie devs. That's not to knock the devs who made Spider-Man and Horizon, they're fantastic but it's the independant developers pushing boundaries.
Because 20 years ago the development tools weren't as sophisticated hence why developers weren't able to, clearly.

I'm with you on that, not pre-ordering and waiting for player input. I don't hold hope for games any more especially for PC and optimisation.

Yeah, I'm just happy Sony took the time to optimise it, Halo runs awful on PC so still haven't bothered doing the campaign which is sad but happy I can jump into this without worries. Not played it since it released on PS4.

Donkey Kong needs to go 3D, he's too restricted to what he can do in 2D. Hope Nintendo do for Donkey Kong what they're doing for Kirby.
