"These subscriptions are training a whole generation of "wait til it's free" gamers"

If they can wait till its free they most likely weren't that fussed about it, just had a passing interest, hence waiting. Nothing wrong with doing that. Its the persons choice what they choose to spend money on or not.

"the industries revenue is going to start plummeting if people don't start to actually directly support titles they wa...

Brand loyalty isn't helping, what's helping them keep market share is Gamepass (yeah I know you either love it or hate it but it's working well for them). They're just trying to do what Valve did with Steam. Games aren't their main focus. A platform for games seems to be their direction now.

CoD really is losing ground because its the same thing year in year out and they milk it too much so people eventually get bored of the same crap.

Cult of the Lamb, Saints Row, TMNT and the Destroy All Humans 2 remake, have a lot of memories of that game.

Kinda sad the only game worth getting in my own humble opinion is a compilation of games from decades ago…. TMNT

Fixed for you. No worries.

You really needed a study for this? It's only unhealthy if you game to excess and neglect real life but that goes for anything. Bet the resarchers loved getting paid to do literally f all to prove the obvious.

"One last goal of the research was to find out how motivational experiences in gaming impact well-being. In simple words, are players happier when they play games on their own or through external pressure? You will not be very surprised to know that players w...

Yeah Monolith created it but Warner trademarked it along with the rights.

Warner Bros own the Nemesis system, not Monolith.

Thanks for letting us know.

It's sprung a new leak.

Yeah, but it's good casual as you got your money's worth with the base game and the expansions. Immortal is just bad casual, the game just wants you to buy, buy and buy some more to win.

"Nintendo has the best 1st party games of the big three IMO, but I can't spend $60 per game to play at 30fps anymore"

If they were that good you wouldn't care. Your logic doesn't win on this post.

They could only polish a turd so much. Wasn't good at release and isn't good now.

It was repetitive and boring. Not a good game at all.

"This is essentially a direct attack at civvies in order to cause unrest"

Yeah, I'm sure they will now storm Putin's palace waving the banners of Baal due to this decision.

Yeah, not healthy. I did a 2 day marathon the other week on Diablo 2 Resurrected and I found I felt so low mentally after and felt desensitized from reality slightly. It scared me. I had fun playing but I won't be doing that again. Moderation is the key.

"Lol you should probably know, this site has a hate boner over Elden Ring for some weird reason."

Since when?

@Foxtrot: Having physical media is all well and good but you tend to have to download half the game after you install it. Patches to fix broken things in the game have to be downloaded too.
