I'm just satisfied in knowing he'll be as involved as he can with the project. With his brain behind the MGS movie, at least we know when (or if) it comes out that it'll be worth admission.
As for MGS5, he does mention he's thinking about having a new Metal Gear game around the film's release! There's something to get excited about if it actually comes to fruition..
Got my copy earlier today and have had a tough time putting the controller down. P4 improves over 3 (which was already one of my favorite PS2 games of all-time) in so many ways.. it's just incredible. If P5 takes it even a fraction of a step more forward on the PS3, we'll have one hell of a JRPG blockbuster on our hands, and maybe the series will finally get the recognition it deserves. Anyway, on topic.. Uncharted supplied my first Platinum trophy, and I simply cannot wait to earn another with Among Thieves. All the stealthy snow in the world won't stop me from making this a day-one purchase. The full trailer can't come soon enough!

Most definitely. Insomniac has managed to deliver a solid new game every year.. and I'm sure they don't plan on changing that in '09.
Being a fan of parkour, I was really interested to see how a game based on free running would turn out. After the release of some incredibly good games, Mirror's Edge kind of flew under my radar. The demo, thankfully, b!tch-slapped some sense into me. This game is looking to be one of the most unique and fresh gaming experiences of this gen. Now I can't wait to pick up my copy, along with the kick-ass Runner's bag replica. (and Trophy support FTW)
I remember being interested in the concept of a free-running-based game, and the initial gameplay trailer impressed me graphically, but after a while the game kind of flew off my radar. I'm glad I played the demo. I can already tell it'll be one of the most original and rewarding gaming experiences of this gen.. plus now I get the sweet Runner's bag for pre-ordering.
(And the trophies don't look too bad either!)

Yeah.. seems a little convenient that the online co-op suddenly became unavailable just in time for reviewers to play the game. Whatever.. Fable was my favorite Xbox game, so I'm sure I'll love this one regardless, despite sh!t-tastic and disappointing co-op.
Hey what paths did you choose to get the chicken suit? Through two plays I've got the Lionhead tattoo, the hero doll (good whole time), the book of evil expressions, and pink dye (evil whole time). Oh, and the 1k from the chicken kicking game..
More games need this kind of interactivity.. winning in-game items just for playing through the game's website? Genius!

Kick ass! I missed that the first few hundred times I've watched the trailer.. It'll be fun to see Uncharted 2 and (most likely, given Insomniac's track record) Ratchet & Clank Future 2 go head to head next year. If I'm lucky they'll come out the same week so I can kill two birds with one drive. Man, that would be a damn good week of gaming..
