I love Sony but the PS3 is utter fail. Hopefully the PS4 will learn from it's mistakes.
That is an interesting point.
While I absolutely hate the Halo series the answer to this articles question is yes. It does mean it is better than KZ2.
Xbox LIVE costs $3 per month. I don't know if there can ever be a valid argument that can make the case that it is over priced.
Well you can make justifications and reasons why there are more games on the 360 etc but it doesn't matter at the end of day it is just stating the fact there are more games. That is all people care about whether or not there are more games and whether or not there are more higher rated games. Nobody cares why.
@Cajun Chicken - Not sure how number 2 is a lie considering it gives factual proof of higher rated games.
Not sure how number 4 is a lie considering you yourself admit the multiplatform games run better on the 360. What difference does it make WHY they do? The reason only said that they do.
It was officially released on August 25th. Quoted from link in the article: We just got confirmation from Sony that retail stores are being told they can sell the Slim as soon as they receive it. Now let's see how the the 160GB PS3 classic fares with its slender counterpart sharing price point and shelf space. It's officially on sale.
What's with all the reports? Can't stand to face the truth? It clearly was released on August 25th at all major retailers like Gamestop and Bestbuy. Why would these sales which made in August not be included in the August numbers?
Why else do you think the PS3 sales went up 72% from July? Magic? No, because the Slim's sales boosted them.
But reports say the first week of sales, it sold 500,000. (They did not say the first week of SEPTEMBER, that word was just added i...
The article includes a link which shows that the Slim debuted on August 25th.
I wish there was a way for me to join in this lawsuit against Bungie.
Last I checked they were still 8 million in THIRD so how exactly did they win?
mrblacknut, it says that right in the article.
Why am I skeptical about these numbers? They also said that there were millions upon millions of Killzone 2 pre-orders and then the reported pre-orders ended up exceeding that games total sales. Can't believe anything you read on VGChartz.
I listed blockbuster exclusives. Those are all of the ones scheduled for 2010 release on PS3. The fact you think the list is so short only goes to prove the articles hypothesis that 2010 will be the year of the 360.
Why is such a poorly written clearly fanboy-authored article at 400 degrees hype? Why is this kind of trash even on N4G at all?
@Omega4: It was Bungie that admitted Halo 3 was rushed. That is how people learned of the Guardian campaign level in the first place. They said they rushed the game out to meet deadlines set by Microsoft.
@Sonyslave3: I don't think someone who is an Xbox 360 writer is a PS3 fanboy. You seem to just be paranoid.
Okay onanie, well Gears of War on PC isn't the same as Gears of War on 360 so I guess that game is still exclusive and there's actually THREE Gears games now.
Doesn't that just sound silly?
The entire point of the article is that if you use the dictionary definition of exclusive to say that a console exclusive is not exclusive because its on another platform, then you are forced to also admit games like LBP are not exclusive because they too are on another platform. So your choices are either to admit console exclusives really are true exclusives or to admit that there are some PS3 heavy hitters that aren't exclusives after all. Which will you choose?
Yeah if anybody wants to play this weekend hit me up with a party invite, my gamertag is Xander756.
It's kind of funny how PS3 fanboys call everything and anybody who does not lavish praise unto the PS3 and all it's games an "Xbot." Fact of the matter is that besides it's good graphics, Killzone 2 just didn't have enough going for it to be in the running for GOTY.
