According to metacritic, there are also better rated games on the 360. more games 90+, more games 80+, etc.
While you are definitely right about the others, there was no recoil in CoD4 either on most of the guns.
I agree with Johnthebaptist, Sony's lineup this year looks very paltry. The only good game I have seen mentioned has been God of war 3. It looks like the roles have been reversed from last year. Last year PS3 had a lot of games come out while the 360 didn't and now this year it's swapped.

The game got a 76 on Metacritic! MAG is hardly groundbreaking.
Well there goes half the players that would have played/bought MAG. The majority of people on PSN just don't use headsets and that's that. Leave it to Zipper to screw themselves.

Any true gamer could have seen Killzone 2 disappointing fans from a mile away. I truly do feel sorry for any fanboys who bought this with high hopes and wasted their money on a mediocre title.

That is easy to explain actually. If you had read the articles which are referenced next to the numbers on those wikipedia pages instead of just glancing at the numbers themselves, you would see the 360 numbers do NOT include that years fiscal sales while the PS3's do. It seems reasonable then that 3 to 4 million in 360 numbers are missing.
That doesn't make sense. How can the PS3 be widening the gap worldwide when they are the ones behind? I think you meant "narrowing the gap." IQ levels are astounding here!
@Fishy Fingers: I believe that was included in the middle of the article. It states the 360 sold around 5.5 million before the PS3 was released and now it's ahead by 6.18 million so the gap actually widened after the PS3 launched.

Of course Windows makes Microsoft the majority of their money. Their gaming division is one of their smallest. It still makes them a tidy profit though so why should they have never made it? Not to mention now they have a pretty large share of the gaming market and have set themselves up nicely for next generation. Don't forget, they got PWNED last gen so they have done really well so far with the 360.
