if its not sony's code then its a 'legal' product.. becasue once one buy a product..any product its yours to do what you want with, hack it mod it etc. if you own a game you can do the same back it up etc. its when you share a game.. or mess with the system software that it becomes illegal..
but this can be passed as legal because as of yet there are no homebrews or emulators or even ways to distribute games online.. so they can say "it lets people back up ...
its only games that have any single files over 4gb(could be 5gb)within its full contents/code whatever you want to call it that dont work
@doshey actually no, gaming in your room is entertainment.. gaming in tournaments at venues becomes a cometitive sport.. such as any other sport, football, basketball etc.. so why shouldnt you get paid for it?.. i mean footballers make millions every year for kicking a ball?.. why shouldnt guys get paid for winning a tournament or advertising a product while doing so?..
is it really sad though?.. because the guys who take gaming as a 'passion' tend to be really good and also enter/win tournaments.. which gets them money and can lead to becoming a 'pro gamer'.. which is a job and a lifestyle.. and how many celebs will you be meeting & hanging out with through your gaming?..
