I don't have anything against their looks personally, but these new Pokemon look more like fan made than official. Toxel looks like one of Stitch's cousins, and the one above evolves into an apple pie dragon that looks especially unofficial. I like em but they look totally out of place

Honestly that wild area has me wanting a Pokemon game in the style of Breath of The Wild. They should work with the BoTW team cause I think it'd fit Pokemon very well, freedom and all

Been waiting a long time for a VR game to look like it's more than an indie/on rails experience. No offense to the the VR games that have been good, but this looks like what could SELL VR
Works well on my laptop and on my phone and I tried it once on my VITA all the way from my sis's house and it worked well then too. Don't care much for paying yet another monthly subscription service, but this does show that streaming games does work, and work properly. It's a nice alternative from having to carry your PS4 around, and it's completely free. I said it before, but I'll say it again. It'd be awesome if SONY put the official app on the Switch
To think this whole controversy could've been avoided if they said they were just having trouble porting the engine and assets to work with the Switch rather than what they said. Cause playing the game so far it's obvious that they were having trouble and/or they didnt dedicate enough time trying to get this released
Games have always had the potential to be so much more than movies and books. It's a shame that the industry has been hell bent on pushing multiplayer and microtransansactions as the standard
The variety of games in the early 2000s up until mid PS3 gen is untouchable. Not just early 2000s but before that with the PS1 and early PC games. Everything now is overdone, unoriginal, uninspired. Very few games really stand out from the AAA scene, and indie has gone to shit. I think at this point Xbox has found a place in the console market, but nothing is ever permanent. These sort of comments are very dumb if that's exactly what he said. Besides sequels to some of the great exclusives I really hope they go hard on backwards compatibility and what it can do to PS4 games. If the games I have now look and perform even better then it might be what pushes me to get a PS5 sooner than later.
What I found awesome was the freedom. Never was I restricted to a quest area that if I left I got a game over. Too many open world games do that and always tick me off. Only other game I played with this amount of freedom was Oblivion
Of course that's just how people are, but that doesn't really excuse them from trying new things. Personally I rather be bitched at for trying new things rather than having people complain about how things never change. Isn't that after all sort of the point of being a developer, or just a creative person in general?
people got excited over having 18 gyms only to end disappointed when they said it was split between versions. The same with each version having exclusive POKEMON. Game already had half of the Dex taken why further split em between 2 versions? The excuses from fanboys is what disappoints me the most. People aren't getting these games for free, we're paying for em. And this franchise isn't new or niche, it's huge and worth millions. Expecting a lil more from it's move to more powerful hardware isn't entitlement. My head is full of ideas for this series, not just my head but millions of other fans. Wouldn't pre-ordering the game, despite all the negativity, to play and form my own valid opinion on it after playing it be my own decision?
