Thing is the first game in most of their series tend to be unique. Then they milk it like 15 times til everyone gets sick of it. The inclusion of microtransansactions, and 5 different tier editions don't help.
No such thing, way too many amazing soundtracks.
It needs changes too tho, many projects don't get completed and people have gotten screwed over. The idea was and still is great, but it's easy to take advantage of.
I remember they did something similar in Crystal. You were able to travel to from Johto to Kanto at the end of the game. If I'm remembering correctly you could even battle the gym leaders from Kanto. I remember I decided to leave all but my starter and start just like Ash would do whenever he left to a new region.
A hard mode and maybe a type of new game plus where you can start as an already veteran trainer with your fully leveled Pokemon from the previous game. Of course for the second mode they'd hafto balance out so that wild and trainers Pokemon are already around your level, maybe letting us go over level 100 in this mode
What difference would it make? Honest question. Regardless of time setting the series hasn't taken any steps forward, and modern warfare won't change anything. I love the concept of Battlefield, I think I fell for the series when I really got into BF43, but EA has been pushing it to appeal to the mainstream for so long I've given up on it.
Yea thanks. Thanks for letting them know they can release an unfinished game, and charge for the rest later. Truly part of the 21st century now. Dang these sites don't try hiding their excessive arse kissing
Even if it isn't an evolution, it's at least a step in the direction that many fans of Pokemon have been wanting the series to take
You can't come up with all this in two months. dlc is planned from the start for every modern game, and you're a fool to think you're being listened to. If we were being listened to they would've done something about it when the game was months away after their E3 presentation caused all that controversy
Being from Konami makes me cautiously optimistic, but anything Pokemon-esque will always grab my attention.
This is what everyone in the industry should strive to do in my opinion. You can tell amazing stories, in as much detail as they are in books, even better because the player is in the center of it all. Key is finding a balance between gameplay and story. It's just too bad most writing in games is just god awful. And let's not kid ourselves this company has been on the forefront of pushing multiplayer as the standard for years. Less talking more showing, especially now that you have so...
Personally I'd love to hear him speak, be more part of the story rather than just coming along for the ride
I don't think there's any point in arguing against what they're doing. They've learnt absolutely nothing from the backlash, and lied again. For those saying this is GF and not Nintendo, Nintendo has just as much of a say in decisions made for the series and they're are just as greedy for allowing the way this franchise is being handled. You can't sit around voicing your displeasure in online forums, but GF and Nintendo is never gonna listen. Just stop buying Pokemon, ...
I don't think time is an issue when it comes to live service games. If anything would be an issue is money, and the quality of the game. If I'm mostly being an adult and only have so much time to put into a game then I wanna be sure I buy a game that's worth it. So that whatever time I have to play games will be spent on enjoyment rather than frustration
POKEMON sword and shield plays like a GBA game, far from the 21st Century
"it's a game made for kids" is usually the excuse given. I guess kids are gonna pay 30 bucks for DLC. I think it's a pass from me. Also what a bunch of hypocrites. They said no Pokemon will be added in afterwards and now they're charging 30 for added Pokemon, ridiculous. That ontop of Pokemon Home still possibly being a PAID service. This series is officially dead for me
Crystal, and Emerald would beg to differ
what's the logic in doing this? I honestly can't think of a logical reason for them to consider doing this at all. They cancelled all remaining DLC support and left the game in an incomplete state. For 4 years they've been milking this game with re-releases and half assed DLC. With so much time, effort and money being spent they could've made FFXV-2 which is what this game deserved
With how laggy this game can get online I don't see this working out so well, not to mention it would occasionally disconnect all together
The base game lacks much more than just Pokemon.
