Arrogance, and stubbornness, and just lack of cooperation. People say that Ninty does their own thing, and that all fine and dandy, but they've struggled in the past and are still struggling to keep up with times due to them ignoring advances over the decades.
Still waiting for the ports of the two already remastered for the Wii U. However if they decide to charge full price for them individually then they can keep em.
I must've missed where I said any of that, I'm not defending neither Sony or Micro. Both have done their fair share of BS and they have been called out for it. Spend enough time on this site and it's so blatantly obvious how blind everyone seems to be towards Ninty. My face is always straight.
and you're part of the problem. Blinded by brand loyalty, you bring up Sony and Microsoft in an attempt to make Nintendo look less bad. At least when those two do shite their fanbase criticize them, and the media crucifies them. Unlike Nintendo who seems to be covering their ears at all the criticism thrown their way
People like to think Ninty can do no wrong, but it won't surprise me when they get as bad or worse than Ubi, EA , and Acti combined. They've proven they can be as, if not more greedy with their absurd pricing of microtransactions for their shite mobile games.
Closest thing to a GOTY edition is their digital bundles. I find it ridiculous they still wanna charge 80 dollars for BotW 2 years later. Even more ridiculous is they did a physical rerelease of BotW but instead of including the DLC it included a map
That's cause CoM was required to understand least half of what happens in KH2. If they would've just gone directly to KH3 with maybe just one game in between they could've explained where the organization came from, and who Xehanort was. KH2 was a mystery but not over complicated, least I think so
A thousand times yes on remote play on Switch!
KH, CoM, and KH2 is when the series was at it's best. The story, while it got odd with KH2, still made sense. It was a completed trilogy of games, and the series's future looked promising and exciting. 358 added to the story, and while it introduced Xion she died and so no extra complications were added to the overall plot. As much as I liked BBS, it went down hill starting with that game. If they would've went with Xehanorts outcome at the end of 3 they could've started fresh...
So are people starting to realize this DLC is just what they couldn't include due to Square rushing the game out? Or do y'all still wanna defend Square for releasing an incomplete game? I'm not attacking the series, I love KH, I'm just pointing out shady business practices.
I'd say that I'm glad there's at least a free option, but 15 dollars a year is completely unnecessary. Also they take longer than a year to release this and it doesn't support Go, will probably take another year for it to. Tell me again how Pokemon is for kids.
There wouldn't be a need to delay games if they A. wouldn't announce em so early and B. give the developer the necessary time to build a complete and non broken game. I get that as a business you want to push out your product and get your pay, but the more people feel screwed over the less they're going to want to buy anything from you.
Cause they needed another year to complete it and Square rushed it instead. Square needa get their shit together
Please stop, the story is enough of a mess.
This is something to get excited for. Not for the game itself, but Gamefreak moving away from what they're most comfortable with. They needa get a better feel for making console games, unless they're not the ones working on the port then nvm
There is a review by a YouTuber called Arlo that sums up basically everything I had a problem with. As for what it lacked, polish for one. A story, side content, post game content. The lack of Pokemon didn't effect me as I never had an issue with the dex cut
It's more important to write the story you want to write. If it includes a diverse cast off characters then great, if it doesn't then that's great too. Pandering goes both ways, but there's no denying that there seems to be a lean towards diversity just cause there's a few idiots complaining in their Twitter posts. It's disingenuine to me.
What's with this wave of defense for DLC coming from all these sites lately?
DLC continues being a great concept. Too bad developers and publishers use it in shady ways. I'd be all over this if it weren't so obvious it was cut content. The point of DLC is to add more to an already great game, not add in what should've been there day one. My disappointment isn't just about Pokemon but on these practices, they don't even hide it anymore. KH is another game. Sure they took a whole year to work on it, but its obvious the base game needed a ln extra year...
It's not, sure. But why is this even a thing when you have the option to make multiple profiles on the switch? Just seems kinda dumb
