Very interested in this.
They need to do what they are doing with the 3DS though and market it twords that casual and hardcore at the same time unlike the Wii where it was all casual.
Possible DX11 console with full BC support? Count me in!
Also as was stated due to the 360 and PS3 being 5+ years old making a console that can destroy them in graphics would not be costly in any way.
But motion controls are teh future!
Honestly I do not mind motion controls but the only new controller input I can get excited about would be mind control input XD

I think E3 is the big deciding point if Kinect will become a hardcore and more used device.
It will NEED some sort of Controller input to be considered hardcore though. a Wii/Move like controller input would be great.
(yes I am aware the original concept of Kinect was you are the controller but the PS Eye didnt have a Move like device in the PS2 days either)
They are releasing the Kinect SDK for PC next month :)

They are also releasing Kinect support for XNA (Xbox indie games) this year as well.
I just dont get why they had to put up such an obvious "we want hits" article.
The Netflix for Kinect app is garbage but they are obviously fishing for hits with the title.
See kotaku could have left out that last line and put "Kinect for Netflix is a Catastrophe."
This app is bad though and could be GREATLY improved if it wasnt for the fact it only goes off suggestions.
You are aware MAG has to make HUGE cuts to the graphics and other things to get the bandwith limit and dedicated servers to allow the 200+ players right?
Battlefield 3 simply has much much more going on than MAG.
BF3 engine =/= MAG engine.
Even with the dedicated servers for BF3 there is still the vehicles, destruction and ect. PS3 and 360 also both have bandwith limits which further prevent the BF3 player count to increase.
Cant wait to download this SDK, I will finally be able to try some of those mods!

Its being over looked by Miyamoto and its not like this deserved to be treated a new Zelda game, all the ground work was there, just make a HD port with a few added features and 3D backgrounds.
Your point? What I am trying to say it needs to do things the Wii and MOVE are doing. I LOVE the tech behind the Kinect but it needs a controller input.
