Whadda you know. A premium game with microtransactions that people kept defending again and again and again and again by saying "it doesn't affect the game, you're not forced to buy them." Only to turn out that it DOES affect the game AND the game is PRESSURING us to buy them. Can we stop defending Microtransactions in $60 games now? There is not ONE game with it that doesn't treat players like crap.

Future fixes that may or may not happen doesn't excuse the game's current launch state. The point is that the game need to be finished at DAY 1. With that logic, reviewers shouldn't give a low score for BF4's broken launch and should've waited 2 years later for the game to be ironed out.

And I have to pay $60 for PS+ for this?

That's because story comes first before multiplayer in a game called Halo. Considering the hype surrounding the campaign for Halo 5 in the first place. Campaign is a game's strongest point, because multiplayer can only last as long as the servers. Doom is one of the best games of the year, and the best FPS in years because of it's campaign. Despite problems with the multiplayer, hardly anyone cares about that. Multiplayer is secondary for any game in any genre (unless it's a f...

"Not to mention campaign has always taken a back seat to multiplayer with these games for their demographic" That's the problem. The stories were great back then with the first two games, MW 1-2, World At War, and probably BO1 that having the games recently put multiplayer first, story last is how the recent games because more stale. After the Ghost, each game became more tiresome and worse. The multiplayer modes were dumb down for casuals, the stories sucked more, and it became...

selling mw standalone would just seperate some people"

No, actually it would making more money for Activision. MWR would make a killing while IW would make it's own. What Activision did to themselves to have less money than before. People don't want IW with the way it is. They want a proper COD game.

"I think it's only natural for that type of the game to have wall running and jet pacs" That's TITANFALL. Not Call of Duty. Ha...

"People work, very hard on these games."

Too bad the game they've worked on isn't what people asked for. They want CALL OF DUTY. Not Titan Warfare. I appreciate time and effort towards a game, but not listening to your fans is a different story. COD has stopped being worth it after Ghost, and the series has gotten downhill since it gone Sci-Fi. What people wanted was the return to form with a modern day or past setting, and Activision ignored that.

If it takes Modern Warfare Remastered to get people to see how good Infinite Warfare actually is, then that's the card they're going to play."

Tell that to Platinum Games that offered the first Bayonetta (with some gameplay tweaks and new costumes) with Bayonetta 2 for free despite not making a lot of money. Hell, you can buy the game separately in the digital store. Modern Warfared Remastered like Bayonetta WiiU should've been a award for those who purchas...

That's retarded. Why first of all pay $80 only to play a remastered game from 10 years ago (that even holds well on the last gen consoles) that will also force us to take up almost half the hard drive space. He doesn't want to play Halo Warfare, he wants to play the proper COD.

Where does Quantum Break go into this? The final boss was everything the game needed for it's difficulty. It's suppose to keep you moving.

Still ain't buying it.

Well, to be fair. The best FPS of the year so far is thanks to it's strong campaign mode (Doom). The problem though regarding Titanfall wasn't that it has no campaign. It was that there wasn't enough content for a multiplayer online only game. Like Jim Sterling said it's fine to have an multiplayer only game without single player content. But that content needs to be replaced with something. Lack content will only make that game disposable. It's why Titanfall died out so f...

I guess I'm one of the very few players who were ok with the design. Though wished the Vanilla version was similar like in DMC1 where the Frost received very little damage with the wrong weapons, and don't get staggered. But part of what I like and just use to with DMC is having enemies limit me on doing the same combo over and over again to kill every enemy, but still find other ways to strategies and keep the flop of the gameplay being fast-paced. Trying more and more to be precise ...

Sorry, actually loved the hell out of DmC. Especially the DE which made it now my second, if not my MOST DMC game I've played so far. After all the backlash, it actually turned out be a incredible game (DMC'ish or not). But I would love the original series to go on. As long as it's not staring Nero. And like I said. It's better in PG's hands, but having it with Ninja Theory is not at all bad.

Give the IP to Ninja Theory or better yet Platinum Games. I don't think the series should be in the hands of Capcom of today.

Looks like a big gigantic lie to me seeing as it's repeating the same clips from the reveal, and there is hardly ANY gaming dialogue or real combat here. Won't be buying this game until Angry Joe, and Jim Sterling reviews this.

Being a $10 discount doesn't excuse the fact that I'm forced to pay $50, let alone ANY amount of money just to play an online mode for a game I'm going to buy unless that developer says otherwise. So basically, Uncharted 4 is around $40-$50, but to play Multiplayer, I have to cough up extra $60 just for a yearly service. So basically I don't own the full disc after paying for it. I don't want PS+ account, I just want to play my games without no worries, pressure, nor feeli...

No they won't. Not for a very long since SFV shown they haven't learn their damn lesson. Funny that SFIV (sort of) and DmC was the only GOOD and healthy things they've produced in about 8 years and it's still going downhall from here. While I love DMC4:Special Edition. It was a $20 SPECIAL EDITION that amplied microtransactions and Pre-Order DLC. Can't get it. Have to buy it on the network still. Resident Evil 7 will be no surprised thanks to pre-ordering health supplies f...

Didn't their flagship Max Payne 3 release on PS3 (Though they didn't develop it, but still), and that flopped?
