So the Xbox One nearly killed gaming and the PS4 saved it? These consoles are so much more powerful than I thought. I mean they're not even out yet and all this has happened.

Well come on man... even when blogging about the new development on PS4's RAM allocation, you don't give Microsoft any credit for the fact that they came out of the gate being clear about the X1 RAM resources and you also keep mentioning that it's 5.5 GB available to games when in fact it's 4.5 and 1 GB available if and when background operations allow it and for 1st party games alone. Also Toyota Camry vs Bugatti Veyron? Nice way to take a shot at...
This is such a beautiful and calm place... but the presence of the dark-spawn known as the the Sony fanboy looms over everything.
"This was such a beautiful place... before the dark-spawn known as the the Sony fanboy invaded and blotted the light with vitriol."
It's a great game. I bought it for $40 a few months ago and I don't get the "I should have waited" guilt cause I enjoyed it so much. Says a lot about the game considering how much I love a bargain.
5+ gigs of ram dedicated to games is still plentiful. I have 16 gigs on my pc and so far it has been overkill. The most I've seen used on Resource Monitor while multitasking (streaming podcast from iTunes while playing Civ 5 and having chrome open an so on) is a little over 5 gigs. No need to worry. The PS4 is still plenty powerful.
Comparing game companies to Nazism and gamers to abused and beaten women. What a paragon of class.
I believe it was the current Pope who said "Si te lo meteis gritais, si te lo sacais llorrais."
Not $550 but it's pretty close. Super quick build. I'm sure with a little time we can do much better.

Cool it. You creep.
You don't sound like you own a gaming PC at all. I think your pirate "friend" is imaginary...
You are comparing the total ram of the consoles to the ram of the PC video cards only. Not exactly a fair comparison.
Hopefully this will use more than one core of the cpu on my pc... Looking at you AC3!
Everyone with a mid-tier gaming PC or better...
Guess what guys! I just bought a PS4 online for a cool $850! I was gonna spend that on two GTX 770 GPUs so I can run them in SLI on my PC but then I caught this lucky break! I'm so glad I'm not an idiot...
Yeah! Time someone said something negative about the Xbox!
Guess what everyone? I'm buying Atlus. Evidence you say? Well I own Persona 3 FES and 4. Just as much evidence here as in on that article...
I was running it before on a 660ti. I honestly don't think it's a hardware issue. Far Cry 3 ran perfectly on the 660ti and runs even better on the 770. Starchild mentioned that AC3 only uses one processor core, which kinda shows that Ubi didn't do a proper job porting the thing.
The footage of KZ Shadow Fall looks really good but so far the gameplay looks like every other shooter. Far Cry 3, on PC at least, still looks more "next-gen". And from what I can tell, it seems to be running at 30 fps. A big no-no for next gen.
You know PC is Microsoft right? MS is about money while Nintendo and Sony aren't? Yeah warm your hands by that fire.
