how long do you need to beat a psn game

5509d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Who cares if you only get the plus games for a month. Its a month, how long do you need. If someone gives you a game for a month why complain. What, do you expect them to give 77 million users 100$. Thats insane. The hack is costing enough as it is. The only compensation they needed to provide was the identity theft security.

With no offline means no Demons souls, GOW, red dead, and other great games like that. I was lost when the psn went off but ive realized that when it comes back on ill still keep just playing Dead Space and Heavy Rain, i just might get a few online matches in FN champion and KZ3. The only people who think sp is going away is people who only play shooters. Too me atleast you can only play so many death matches. I had just as much fun beating the story mode in KZ as I did online.

not to mention that BO is a pretty ugly game, especially online

Battlefield will be better no doubt. Im not even sure who is making the next COD. People will always love COD though because anyone can run around and get some kills and not get frustrated. Its high speed, easy to use guns, and bullet resistance gives people who aren't good at fpss a chance to win.

the card numbers were encrypted which can be undone but may take a very long time but they didn't get the security codes so they cant use it. Youre passwords are fine.

does anyone remember last month when epsilon (best buy, chase, capital one, ect.) was hacked.

ya people were saying that they weren't encrypted and getting people worried and now we find out they were using a method better than encryption in this scenario.

5511d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

well now we know it was pointless for me to change my other passwords if they did use hash algorithms.

5511d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Honestly the only thing they got was my email address. Who cares. The cc # were encrypted, by the time they unencrypt it it'll have expired, the security codes were on a separate server, and the passwords were stored through hash functions. So essentially Sony never had my actual password just a set of numbers/symbols that their individual algorithm spits out. Since the PSN agorithm is different than anyother sites (or should be), they can only use it to get into my psn account which Sony...

The truth is we do not know who is too blame here. If Sony slacked on security then its their fault. But, we don't know that for sure so why try to decide with out the facts. You could believe the articles, but they have been shown false when they said everyones cc # and security codes were taken and passwords were completely unprotected.
Either way the person doing it is too blame. A crime is the criminals fault no matter how easy it was to do. Making an article like this is jus...

it seems like it only works on one. Mine worked until I used it on my brothers and now it no longer works on mine and asked me to enter my netflix password.

no i was using mine before fine, after 2 tries it would work but, now it asks me to sign in when it starts to load a movie. When it cant a message says psn connection is required, or some bs, and kicks me back to netfix's homescreen. This happened after i used my netfix on a separate PS3

ps plus is free and discounted games so it works on what ever ps3 you have an account on. Just like anything else you can download anything on up to 5 ps3. The automatic updates only work on one ps3.

I know they may have released the new bills uniform in the first trailer. Maybe the author is confused or maybe this isn't the picture hes talking about

Seriously? The video and arrest warrants are about the master card think not Sony which is old news.

Its true, any network could be hacked if someone cares enough to spend the time needed. And the network wasn't crashed, it was shut down by sony. There is no such thing as a 100% secure network. Especially after its been up for a few years with people no doubt trying to hack in to it.

It was some idiot who wanted free shit not the losers doing ddos attacks.

Ya there probably more focused on just getting the security right and getting it up but id love a new feature or two.
