why? I see in 3D it just seems natural that everything we watch will be in 3D eventually. I have a Vizio 3d and movies are awesome. Games arent as good because of the drop in resolution which should be less of a problem next gen. I play AC3 with 3d on sometimes despite the graphics being worse.
@rainslacker you beat me too it. Microsoft is not loved by americans and the majority of the things we buy are made in china or where ever. I would imagine that they did so good because their ads were all over the place and xbox live and halo. they also came out first so if all your friends have one and you only really care about playing multiplayer shooters your going to get one too. xbox won in america because of its focus on online fps not because microsoft is an american company
with all the people sony has that knows about the ps4 and all the devs they have to tell so they can make launch titles and the os and apps, you actually think that information cant get out. Most of the stuff sony does gets leaked. was the psv any sort of surprise.
I think they could make changes like the touch screen and scanners like reported with out a total overhaul of the dual shock. Im sure they'll change up the rumble to avoid paying the license fee.
Concaved sticks are nice when you arent moving them but when you are pushing it all the way up or to the side its unnatural to have your thumbs in the concaved section. I think convex sticks work better for moving them around. I just wish all the grip didnt wear off when playing fight night and games like that.
the ds3 is made to be held differently than the 360 remote. It isn't as heavy so you dont need to grasp it. There has also been an article that shows ds3 analog sticks give an advantage over 360s because of the less resistance and dead zone. I dont see how it has better ergonomics. Neither has great ergonomics.

I dont believe the game can cause someone who wants to kill, to kill. They were already a serious issue that wasnt caused or triggered by games. I think its more likely that these crazy people were crazy and then enjoyed the violent games. Every generation has had crazy people and tried to blame it on something in society. My comment however was not about the shooter but the author saying that these real life tragedies make him unable to play game.
I agree. If part of the game is listening to where the enimies are than its awesome thst they are spending time to make the audio great for people wih great sound systems or head sets.
