I think the idea is slightly idiotic. Sony built the best hardware. Hes trying to say that the cloud computing will make it better in the future but theres nothing stopping sony from doing the same. Plus sony bought gaikai so the will in the future have the ability to streem games on the ps4 that the ps4 could never handle.

How exacty is the xb1 supposed to reduce the number of boxes under the tv. It can not replace a cable box. You will need the same number of cables. The only thing its saving you from is hitting the input button. Plus i actually like my cable boxes interface and dont see how a universal box can make it any better. Nothing they showed about the tv stuff seemed like it would be used.

@nukeitall yes the wii is a good example of how you dont need power but that was because they brought something new and brought in a new audience. How ever look at the wii u as a counter to that. The wii u will be missing out on a substantial amount of games because of its chips. Games/experiences sell consoles and the hardware is a big part of them. The chips however arent the deciding factor, but they have a chance to be in a console gen where they are so similar.
3d is awesome, its just that most ps3 games could't play in 3d with out looking like garbage. Im sure games will look great in 3d on ps4
me too. If sword fighting was still fun or challenging Id love the game but every fight is exactly the same and waaay to easy. I mindlessly killed hundreds at one of there spawn points and barely got hurt.
