They already said they would stream previous system games. They dont need to remake games to stream them.
Of coarse you cant. Why would the BC would be different for psn games than bluray games. The disk isnt the problem, its the very different archetecture. The will have to remake all the games. They could also just put them on gaikai so you could play them.

yes the 8800 is the minimum requirement to even run battle field and youll get a comparable experience on low with frame rate drops. Ya not only did they use faster memory than theyll most likely need for a while but they also have more of it. Sony will not regret not putting enough ram in it this time, thats for sure.
the specs have leaked for both of them in great detail. The only change is that sony went with 8gbs of ram. They have the same cpu a similar gpu but MS has less compute units, ms has slower ram and has a very small amount of esram (still slower than gddr5) to try and help. @Optimus Just because they didn't announce a date doesn't mean anything. MS has a date they are shooting for and they dont want to be left behind. There not going to release their console months later and attempt a potential redesign just to chase sonys specs. they choose ddr3 ram and im sure their fine with that choice. Im actually very suprised that sony was able to bump the ram up from 4 to 8gb.

Sony could have helped the digital distribution this gen if they only made buying it on the psn at least the same price as other places but it is usually more.
I agree with the article and the potential awesomeness of gaikai. However he is painting a picture of sony being the sole owner of the tech in the future with others licensing it out but if streaming catches on big there will probably be as many companies streaming games as there are streeming movies. The eventual streeming only market will be tough for sony to stay on top of. It will be interesting to see sonys plans for the future or gaming. Im excited for the 20th
I only used BC once on my ps3 and i quickly stopped. I dont see why people care so much, just keep your ps3 if you have ps3 games. Im sure they came up with this gaikai solution as an answer to the fans that would be upset they couldn't play the games they already bought for ps3 on it. For that reason i think that theres a good chance that you will not have to rebuy any thing. The bluray drive is still the same so it should be able to tell what disk you have.
well halo is an xbox 1 game
that price drop seems way too big because theres no way sony would go back to losing money on every ps3. I do obviously expect a price cut to make people buy it now so that sales wont slow down post announcement. Plus selling a ps3 now to some undecided customers may help them sell more ps4s in the future.

I really liked the last one because everything felt better and more authentic than cod with missions that were more intense. It had plenty of flaws but i still enjoied it. The newist one was way to cod with these stupid driving missions and things like that. It is way too easy on hard and the ai is stupid. They shouldnt try to copy cod and stick to what they were trying to do.
the sad thing is the dev teams do work on these cod games for 2 years and dont change anything. AC3 was great and with a lot of changes made to the game. they should just all the bad things about it and improve upon it. They could keep cod going with dlc. However, they would never take a year off
