It's a joke really.
The joke being it's serious.
It'd really be nice if the disc itself was red too.
Yeah the only thing not coming back are his bubbles, lol.
On topic, Does my eyes deceive me? Angry Video Nerd Game coming for WII U too? Nice!
Now let the Nintendo hard difficulty be once again felt by today's players. That game is HARD, lol. I'll have to keep my anger in check if I play this game on Wii U, I don't want to send my gamepad flying.
Can't wait till March to get my hands on Shovel Knight too.
lol no. I still have nightmares when trying to forget those atrocious games. I was scarred for life.
I do NOT want to even imagine Hotel Mario HD or Zelda Wand of Gamelon HD.
Yes, as far as I know, Hyper Light Drifter met the Wii U Kickstarter goal.
And yes, it's in my radar too. Its graphics remind me of Out of this World/Heart of the Alien. But damn that soundtrack I wanna hear it so much in my living room.
Other titles I'm looking forward to (in the immediate future):
Q.U.B.E.
Teslagrad
Oddworld
Shovel Knight
Could it be possible to witness the resurrection of some dormant IPs like Star Tropics?
add to that a free(or heavily discounted) DL code of SSMB. That'd be nice.
Another thing is to make a "twin" deal of sorts. Get MK8 and receive a considerable price slash of SSMB. I'm pretty convinced that'd help.
I wonder, when both MK8 and SSMB are out, how does a Wii U "Ultimate Online Bundle" (with a packed-in MK8 and a free code download of SSMB and since both will be have online multipolayer) would fare.
I highly reccommend it. Gameplay is standard Metroidvania fare(Which is pretty damned good).
The gamepad integration is very convenient with a LOT of hotkeys that can be assigned to it(like 30+ or so). Off-Screen play is highly recommended too, as you can zoom in too.
My only gripe is that you can't zoom in on the TV screen. It has a lot of humorous throwbacks too (Even the golden Child Movie with Eddie Murphy). For US$9.99, it's a great value.
@amigaengine
"Ok how about Bethesda make a playable, bug free game :)"
LOL. Tho we can't deny their games are great, we have to wait SEVERAL generations till we get a bug-free game from them. Heck we may may die of old age before that happens.
@deafani
Not only that, but trying to find an USED copy now for less than $60-80 today is nigh impossible. And its value continues to go up in price too.
So far the best tune I heard. The other one being the one they used before xmas(tho I found that one the most Nintendo-esque and nostalgic of them all)
Mario Kart, Smash Bros., X, Zelda, Metroid(tho date is TBA, we know it'll be release for sure. I hope SOONER) love all those, and that is just part of the line up.
Still, I wonder about F-Zero and Starfox. Please Nintendo, at least hint of them somewhere. Not knowing absolutetely ANYTHING drives me(and many more who think alike) desperate!
He did. It's called Jack Jackrabbit. And it's pretty damned good one(memorable soundtrack too).
He always liked Nintendo. Even when he was hard at work with the Gears trilogy and even before that.
But him liking Nintendo doesn't have anything to do with working on a game for them. If that was the case, we would be seeing his work on a Nintendo systems years ago.
Yakuza, tho it's is a great game is not Shenmue.
And it was only a re-release of a game released not only on PS2 back then but on PS3 also.
And their audience is not the same.
@BlackWolf, Linchpin
Agreed. Though I'd love the idea of Shenmue 3 taken form in any console as long as IT IS DONE. But as you say the reaction would be totally worth it.
Well technically Devil's Third is unnanounced on the Wii U. Still it's only speculation.
I wonder what type of game it could be. I just hope it's an awesome announcement coming from left field.
Don't forget the DRM. People rather play quality games at half the the price.
Well maybe the packaged game is better compressed.
Like when uncompressed music as WAVs compress better than MP3s(since it's already compressed).
