How do you counter a chainsaw attack from the back? you dont.
Is a *chainsaw* going to sneak up on you.. really?
Im intrigued by this idea. It could be a really great gameplay feature if the Locust overwhelm you, and you have to fight them off in a chainsaw duel.
The XNA games on Zune was announced two days ago, and at a Dev. Conference.
They havent said anything to the popular consumer yet.
Im willing to bet that the PSP/DS competitive Zune will be in a new form factor, or a new device revision.
Maybe like this?

The summary, and the comments in here are Funny.
"In recent months, the PlayStation 3 versions of many multiplatform games have been released after their Xbox 360 counterparts--or canceled outright. Others, like Grand Theft Auto IV, have seen both versions delayed because, having optimized the game first on the 360, the developers encountered difficulties with the PS3 edition. "
That should tell all you CELL & RSX mouthbreathers something very clear...
Don't you find it interesting that you can easily port from PS3 to 360 but not the other way around ?"
well when its dumb down for the 360 first its alot harder to port. You make a good point that they are using the better console, PS3, to develop on first.
Whoa whoa whoa. Just a second.
What did you just say? That, the code is "dumbed down" for Xbox 360 *first* and that makes it harder to bring it to the "better console"...
@18.2 precisely.
The RSX needs to be propped up by heavy ($$$) optimization of code on the Cell. The Xbox 360 CPU can pump out the code, and the GPU without problem.
Why do you think every cross platform game has performed, and looked better on the Xbox 360?
Because the Developers have found that the Xbox 360 is more powerful. So, they need to use the PS3 as the baseline.
Base;
lowest part: the lowest, bottom, or supporting ...
It is just a laugh riot that people are thinking this bodes well for PS3.
Its the opposite. What it is saying is that they are going to write code on the PS3 becuase they *KNOW* it will perform on the Xbox 360.
If you develop on the Xbox 360, you have to burn time and money to optimize the code just to get it to run on the PS3.
Multi-platform games are being held back by Sony's poor design.
"Virtually every third-party publisher is now developing for the PS3 first. 'They all are now, since it's just easier,' he told GameSpot."
Yes.
Exactly. And since I have to explain it, I feel pity for you.
Translated:
It is easier to port PS3 code to the Xbox 360 than to port Xbox 360 code to the PS3 -- WITHOUT WASTING TIME AND MONEY TO SQUEEZE OUT PERFORMANCE.
So, Mutliplatform games will now be gimped to ...
I wonder if you'd be better off spreading your trolls ->
*Right* because you know what the hell your talking about. All these people "oh, shipped, vs. retail, vs. sold, vs. this, vs. that" are just talking out of their anus-hole.
Just like you.
The man said last time he checked they'd sold 18M. Another said they are having shortages.
Youre opinion of this fact is immaterial.
Remember, opinions are like arseholes, and all that...
No. You have reading comprehension issues.
They have sold over 18 Million by today, becuase this person said it was over 18M when he checked -- at some point in the past.
I dont know what problem you have.
It could be many more than 18 M by today frankly.
"according to vgchartz"
According to vgchartz, they have underestimated the Xbox 360 install by 1,000,000 consoles.
According to this Microsoft Executive -- WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS WTF HE'S TALKING ABOUT -- vgchartz is broken.
And, MS has sold over 18,000,000 consoles. And, are actually having shortages again due to demand.
But, now that MS has fixed the heat issue with motherboard and component changes, I think you're conslusion is false.
Further, even if you do have one of the earlier, heat-fail prone boxes, you still get to enjoy the software ie: the gameplay and fun.
The failure rate isnt nearly as large as some would like -- even the 3rd party warranty company said it is "around half of 16%", and MS saw that as wrong enough to issue a statement.
If some...
It just shows, that even in Japan, the Xbox 360 is THE gamers machine.
Kotaku is an anti-MS blog.
Do not approve stories --- ANY stories --- from that shiathouse blog.
Thanks.
Kotaku's article is clearly implying something retarded.
MS cant arbitrarily change their contracts.
MS *CANT* just say, "oh, yeah, we promised to pay $1.00, but we uhm, decided to give you $0.50 instead".
This just like Kotaku and their constant anti-Microsoft slants and trolling. I have said time and time again, that Kotaku is not a N4G news-worthy source.
This is just a retarded story top-to-bottom.
You're foolish. -->
Those videos have been submitted here, they need to be approved:

I'll get it on my Xbox 360 and be able to enjoy it on my big screen, on the couch, and with friends in the same room.
Nothing like cozying up to the desktop. But somepeople like PC gaming, that's great too! They'll be able to play this game on Vista with a decent (~$100-125) GFX card.
But, I dont have a Desktop with a videocard to play this game either. My last computer was a Toshiba laptop with Vista Ultimate, but the GFX only score a 4.0 on the Vista Experie...
Whats to hate about MMOs? Really? Social Games are the best, while AI can be good (and it can be bad) - there is nothing like playing with and against other real people.
This generation will be about Social gaming, and LIVE gameplay, long live social gaming.
Never saw that happen. If someone was hiding in a corner, and *10* people ran into him, then, its kinda stupid they didnt use their gun instead isnt it.
The chainsaw rocked. you *could* ambush someone, or hide in cover.. which was cool. But no one could hold a single piece of cover for that long.
