LOL, if I'm wrong then prove it...
Why would you possibly need to make more than 30 comments on Miiverse in a single day? You do know you are on a much more strict limit right here commenting on N4G right?
Maybe, but almost definitely not.....
This is a good thing, but of course we have the usual anti-Nintendo people here turning it into something evil, commenting on things that they have no actual knowledge about.
Now if only N4G could do something to weed out the stupid from their message boards...
Whether it comes out on the NX in some form or not, it's still coming to Wii U or they wouldn't keep saying so repeatedly.
The original FF7 isn't going anywhere, there is no harm in remaking it to match todays standards and fans have been begging for it for years. So yes, it is a good idea.
The lack of Wii U and 3DS games this year seems to say that they are putting a lot of focus on the NX. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a lot of far in development games that they decided to push to the NX where it will do some good instead of waste any more effort on Wii U.
The game is going to cost a hell of a lot more than 2 million to make, remember how the first one practically destroyed Sega financially? This whole situation is just really weird....
It was really great to finally see the game. Although I think it's crazy how little they actually did show after all this time. Maybe it's the fact that they didn't really go into any detail about how the game actually plays, but it all looked very scripted and slow paced. I'm excited in any case but it's hard not to have super high expectations for a game that has been in development for so long.
It's clear that Nintendo has moved it's focus to the NX now. While it's disappointing to see the Wii U and even the 3DS lacking so much this year, it really is time for them to move on and make sure the NX is a success. So in a strange way, the silence this year has me really excited about what they are gong to have going on for the NX.
If this was the only way they were selling them then yes, it would be sleazy. Except what they have done is offer bundles with relevant games that obviously aren't going to sell as quickly as the amiibos by themselves. Not to mention it's an exclusive deal for the Nintendo online shop in Europe only...
And just for the record, the games they are bundling them with are good games whether they sold a lot or not..
what does it matter, they would be sold out in minutes if they sold them alone. It's not like they have a huge stockpile that they are keeping from people...Nintedo just can't do anything right in some peoples eyes...
They are releasing content at a steady pace for the purpose of keeping peoples interest, not because it isn't ready...it's already on the disc. I'm sure there is also true DLC coming, along with plenty more free content as promised.
I personally think it's a cool way to keep the game feeling fresh for a long time, but I guess impatient people will keep attacking the game over it without understanding... or ya know, the people who dislike Nintendo will continue...
The people that want to play PC games without paying for them will pirate whatever game they want with a simple google search. Maybe they could make a few adjustments to how they are handling refunds but I seriously doubt the majority of people care about abusing the system. If devs have a problem with it, no one is forcing them to sell their games on steam.
@Zidane Lol, yes I'll agree that they make more Zelda and Mario games than anyone else....
I dream of the day I can have the variety of games like Halo, call of duty, gears of war, killzone, battlefield, etc. on my Nintendo systems....
At least when Nintendo remakes a game it's more than a year old....
My sanity meter would be totally depleted if they did this!....and I would love it.
It's the next dedicated gaming console from Nintendo. Why would they not want a Mario game to launch with it? Notice how I said I SUSPECT that is what they would want to do..
I wouldn't expect a new 3d Mario game until the NX comes out. I suspect they would have figured out by now that it does them a lot of good to have a big 3D Mario game to launch alongside a new system.
Wow, that's kind of surprising they would allow you to make sound effects with your own voice considering all the inappropriate ways it could be used. It's nice to see them being more lenient about something like that.
