Man those Onlive guys were some money hungry scammers. "Hey loyal fans, thanks for building up a company for us to sell... Ooooh all that stuff you bought from us? Yeah that doesn't exist anymore."
How do you know that's not exactly what they are planning? Maybe reasons like that play into why they don't want random people remaking their games?
By the way they have remade the game once already. Maybe they want to wait for a better reason to remake it again than just making it "HD".
Oh my god people, get over it. First of all, the majority of people posting on this article are the standard Nintendo hating, super mature types that are so common around here so I don't know why I'm taking any of it seriously anyways.
This is standard practice for any developer and if you think it should be different you are probably a thieving little child or something. Nintendo owns the rights to Mario and has every right to control things like this. Look how many...
You are absolutely right. All the people disagreeing with you are just the usual Nintendo haters anyways. Clearly they have no concept of copyrights and such and would like to believe that it's just a Nintendo thing when any other developer would do this same thing if they had any brains....or a legal team.
I don't understand, are they different from normal fatalities? Also, what makes them easy?
Hmmm, seems like it could easily be fake but who knows.
lol....people are stupid, how can you "disagree" with my question? Anyways, thank you to Fkhalf16 for not being a ravenous fanboy and simply answering it.
What exactly is sonys involvement with this game? How is it different than say, Microsoft publishing the original Mass Effect and swearing it would never be seen elsewhere only to have it released on PS3 later?
Damn Nintendo for making them produce quality software! I'm so glad they were given the freedom to create Kinect mini games...
Mobile devices are not made with games in mind and never will be. Anyone who is truly interested in playing games on the go will choose a dedicated device which Nintendo will continue to offer. Mobile devices will not be a concern to them, especially if they are creating content for them that will guide people to their actual gaming systems.
3rd party games don't sell well on Wii U because the 3rd party companies treat Nintendo fans like they are idiots that won't realize they are being sold a lazy, rushed, feature lacking, overpriced experience.
A great example would be EA trying to sell a full $60 priced port of Mass Effect 3 for Wii U while at the same time selling a complete series compilation for both 360 and PS3 for the same price.
It kinda feels like a missed opportunity to not have Freddy Krueger again now that they have Jason. Although at the same time it wouldn't seem right for him to be taking up a DLC character slot again.
Actually I did buy MK9 Komplete edition so I didn't have to worry about buying DLC. Also I'm pretty sure the DLC was not on the disc of the original release and that's besides the point anyways.
In any case I fail to see what you're even trying to say? I didn't mention Capcom and I'm not OK with any game that does stuff like this...
If you think 4 "extra" characters for half the price of the "full" game is reasonabl...
This is so gross... as a big Mortal Kombat fan it makes me sad that I won't be playing this one. I can't possibly support such a blatant slap in the face. Too bad it doesn't matter what I do though lol, they ARE going to make the money they are looking for and nothing will change...
Another day, another "Nintendo is doing it wrong" article....I'm gonna go play some Wii U.
I hope no one is actually reading this click bait....The Nintendo hate is so played out around here. The real question should be when will any other developer be held to the impossible standards that people hold Nintendo to? Nothing they do will ever please the haters no matter how creative, graphically impressive or well made.
I have played Shadow of the colossus and I know it's great but that tells me nothing about this game.
Sooooo... what do you even do in this game?
I think the biggest mistake with the Vita was how they forced you to buy their special super expensive memory cards on top of the already pretty pricey system. That scared a lot of people away and limited support for the system because of low sales and it never recovered. Now Sonys apparent disinterest in the system is it's biggest obstacle.
With a case like Onlive, when they were SELLING games to people they should have also come with a Steam version or something, with the ability to stream the game from anywhere being an added bonus. I know from the beginning they said in all the legal mumbo jumbo that this could happen but that was really less of a potential outcome as it was a promise when these guys have been trying to sell the company from the get go basically.
