It probably has something to do with the fact the Microsoft has been talking about how revolutionary and incredibly amazing YOU being the controller is. How buttons are a barrier to gaming and how Kinect doesn't need them.
Then they go and release a controller for it.

I think the system is a function of how grades are handed out in american schools.
100-90 = A
89-80 = B
79-70 = C
69-60 = D
59-0 = F
so on this scale which is the one most american high schoolers and college students are familar with 6.5 is a D which is usually as good as failing.

so no Gamecube was not the most successful console of its generation. I can dig out the Playstation v. N64 numbers is you want but just suffice it to say that Nintendo is not always successful.
thats a really awesome idea about a heavy rain type game with kinect. I agree that it is possible to make a really great game using solely kinect but the sad thing is no one is doing it. And after MS's e3 it looks like there aren't any plans to do it.

This article sums up exactly how I felt after the Nintendo conference.
We forget sometimes that Nintendo is very hit or miss with consoles. N64 and Gamecube were less successful then there competitors so just because ninty made the wii doesn't mean that it can do no wrong.
As for me I am skeptical of the WiiU until they actually show what this thing can do.
