this game is easily one of the best in the series. Story is great, characters are great, battle system is great. I can understand not being into the first half, but I think the story, cut-scenes and character development really carry that part.

great article. I totally agree and think that the constant bashing of FFXIII is ridiculous. I was very skeptical of the game do to the buzz on the interwebs, but having played it for several hours I can say it is one of the best games in the series. who cares if its multi or not? I'm a ps3 and pc gamer and I'm just glad my friends and family with only 360s get to enjoy this game. I really think its a master piece and the reveiws did not do it justice. to much importance is placed on openworld games this gen, sure they are fun but this is room for fallout 3 and FF XIII. Every game doesn't have to be open world. in fact i think the story and character development benefited greatly due to the linearity of FFXIII.

funny he said FXII is his favorite in the series. It is also my favorite, but unfortunately he said 13 is the exact opposite of 12. O well I bet its still awesome.
