I will never let my son play M rated games until I believe he is mature enough to handle them. In the same way I wouldn't let my kids watch Pulp Fiction I would never let them play GTA. You can't blame video games for violent kids, responsibility lies solely on the parents.
really hated GTA IV, bought into the hype but was so disappointed. because of that I'll wait to play RDR until the hype dies down.
agreed, sand box games have some much to do that nothing feels that important. It like watered down or something. I can only take so much walking/riding/driving to the other side of the map.
I absolutely prefer linear focus narratives to sand box games, but to each his own i guess.
playing the first one right now, and its actually great! I think the reviews were wrong about this one. And who cares about 4 gigs when you got 320gbs?
The title is misleading. He's just saying that his game is too far in development to add something like move. and yes tacked on motion controls are a gimmick.
I agree, but just cause it worked for UC2 doesn't mean it will work for these guys. I mean look at Bioshock 2.
Online MP is overrated in my opinion.
I'm not really into multi-player, so I hope the single player is awesome. The first game was great so I'm hopeful. I just hope they don't make it an action game, cause we have enough of them. I want an awesome survival horror.
"Whether Medal of Honor will end up being a highly partisan and sugar-coated advertisement for American supremacy and ‘honour’ or a delicate exploration of the complexity of Afghanistan’s political circumstances is not yet certain- but given Goodrich’s apparent insensitivity to the issues involved, the omens are not good"
gotta love the self-loathing American (if he is American).
Yes, yes we know, America is pushy and corrupt, and Afghanistan is int...
hope this game does well, but nothing in that preview got me excited. sounded just like a preview for CoD, or any other military FPS.
games are about enjoyment. if being an *elite* gamer is how you get yours then fine, but don't piss on everyone else. games can be about challenges, but they don't have to be. Just play what you like, and don't belittle people who think differently (makes you look bad).
Though i can see where your coming from, I don't think they should change DS at all, good to have a game for people like you!
i agree, thought the game was great but I play games to relax and have fun not to get an adrenaline rush and/or a sense of accomplishment. Its great that people who wanted a really hard game for the hardcore got one, but I don't see whats wrong for an optional easier difficult. Maybe the easy mode would not count on leader boards? I would be fine with that.
i agree with you, and as i said its not a bad thing. if these new peripherals are good or not depends solely on the games released for them. So i guess we'll have to wait and see.
natal = upgraded eyetoy
move = upgraded wiimote
how anyone cannot see this is beyond me. I can't see why this is a bad thing either. Does something have to be revolutionary to be great or something? I don't know how anyone can claim that one is better then the other when no games have actually been released.
well dualshock3s are like 49 bucks so it seems fair.
i feel like this article is kinda b!tchy, I mean the controls work and lots of people liked em. now you can edit the controls to the way you want it, whats bad about that?
He is just trying to appeal to the soccer moms who think there losing there kids to technology. Obama, just like all politicians, is just trying to get votes. Gamers don't vote soccer moms do, therefor: appeal to the soccer moms.
just a generalization I know some gamers vote (me included), but many are just too busy playing awesome games.
Stop trying to hold these politicians up like they are saints! they will always let you down. everyones a hypocrite...
FFT must be on the list! best rpg of all time.
can't wait for this! the first one was so awesome.
totally agree, I think the important thing is for parents to actually care. Protect them, teach them, expose them to great games! To many parents just don't give a crap and that is the real problem.
