I want Valkyria Chronicles to win. That's a game I think deserves GOTY great story, great art direction, fun gameplay, not too short and reasons to go through it again. Fun game overall. MGS4 was fun as well ^^ that had a great story.
It really doesn't matter much this gen, but next gen this will be great so as long as Sony doesn't go and try to push a new format (which would be retarded, if you ask me) then the ps4 can use the tech and up there ram and stuff to take advantage of the space.
Exactly, the only reason we don't have faster net in those area's is because nobody want's to pay for all the crap they'd have to do. the reason Japan has such good speed is because the government stepped in and paid for it. Now the Japanese have like 100Mb speed but only pay as much as we do for our crap connections
At least next gen Sony won't have to push a new disc format.Nice to know blu-ray is future proof so far for disc formats. 400GB by 2010 and 1TB by 2013 there won't need to be new disc format for games next gen. Though if NA and Europe actually starts getting decent bandwith by next gen, then DD might take over but I say that one's chances are slim.
I think you're forgetting this is Square Enix not Square Soft (the greatest rpg makers to ever live I might add) Square Enix could not make a decent rpg even if some deity came down and wrote the storyline for them.
But got a bunch of Square soft ^^. Parasite Eve, Legend of Dragoon, Parasite Eve 2, I enjoyed Chrono Cross but need to play Chrono Trigger.
I found FF8 and FF9 great, though I'm bias on FF8 because it was my first FF and is still my favorite game of all time. I also find FF7 overrated, great but overrated. Though I agree with you on the rest except 12...that story line sucked and the character development sucked.
To me the difference between a jrpg and wrpg is the difference between a book and a choose your own adventure book. They trade off, though a choose your own adventure is more fun to go back over and reread it usually has lackluster story. While a traditional book has a great story and if it's really great you'll play it again to relive the story. So in other words Wrpg's rely more on openness and choosing what you get to do, and creating your own story. A Jrpg thrives on having a great story....
I'm sorry Square Enix was never king, Square Soft was king, pope, and the damn president of JRPG's. You could tell Square was going down hill at FFX, that's when the story and characters were starting to get worse and worse. I'm not saying FFX wasn't good it just wasn't great same with every other SE rpg on the ps2. Yes I like KH but once again it was good not great, and KH2 was still good but not even as good as KH. So please don't say Square ENIX was ever king they're barely the damn jester...

I use a shotgun most of the time (unless they are far off then I use a sniper rifle or a scoped .44 mganum) And I love to either get close or shoot the gun out of the enemies hand so they rush me ( I hate it when they run away but that's the fun of shooting the legs) And when the rush Vats plus head shots equals yumm. Nearly always head burst them or if using a rifle or pistol it's fun to sever there head from there body lol
About those guys saying it's going to be just for Qore Ep. 3 users tomorrow I have to disagree. For I'm a Qore subscriber and I got my key about 5-7 days ago.
So This could very well be true, and I hope it is because the more people online mean the more they have the chance to find the bugs and stress test the server.

Then the full game will blow me away further. When I got the beta key I was stoked. I downloaded it played the story and I thought ok it's not much. then it kept coming back to the top of my head so I finished up the story mode 100%. went through all the tutorials and started creating my lvls lol. Seriously you owe yourself as a gamer to get this game.

I just had a thought. FF13 going to 360 may actually benefit Sony in the end, and here's why.
See when 360 gamers get to play FF13, if they like it they are going to want to play FF13 vs and possibly FF13 agito. both that are currently exclusive to Sony platforms. So for those new fans they will have to buy a ps3 (or go over to a friend's house) to play it.
Of coarse this only works if FF13 vs stays exclusive.
Anyway if you disagree at least say why, I'm more...
