I hope they add in more options for the final game also I was hoping to see some of the new beta battle system (since he alpha system was only a place holder). Well only time will tell how this MMO turns out.

Blade and soul does look pretty sweet ^^. If FFXIV isn't what I'm hoping for then I was going to try out Blade N soul when its available.
I've thought about going back to ffxi a couple times but I just don't want to deal with the now childish community.
FFXI used to have one of the best communities around but after they introduced FoV and Level sync it just went downhill. Damn newbies want everything handed to them on a silver platter. I remember when you had to rely on older player's knowledge to get by. Now everybody starts out with reraise earing and stuff plus an in game tutorial.

They've been making FFXI much easier in a lot of places, which is one of the reasons I quit. (easy crap leads to useless noobs at higher levels)
Nothing like partying with a lvl 60 rdm that hasn't clue how to do his job. Back when I first started playing you knew your job by the time you left dunes or at least by the time you left qufim. I thought level sync was such a blessing in the beginning....

It's not a ps2 emulator, that program is there so games like FFXI can use the hard drive space. But that only works with a ps2 that is already backwards compatible.

I'd kill for a survival horror from insomniac or even their spin off studio. Couldn't care less about multiplatform in this case, Insomniac are extremely talented devs, and I'm betting on that they can do a proper multi game the performs well for each platform.

Just wow! That is such BS. I mean if I didn't like storyline I wouldn't play JRPG's. In fact the story line is what I enjoy most out of the games (usually). I mean it's why uncharted, heavenly sword, and valkyria chronicles are among my faves this gen. Though my fave game is FFVIII, hell most squareSOFT games rock. Out of all the story ideas put up, that one catches my interest the most. I would like to see what they could come up with that.
In #1 it was more of an ancient virus or disease than magic. Though I agree still not as believable but if you like the resident evil series, I don't see the real problem with it, lol. I also liked the twist.
in #2 I was sad because I knew it was coming, though I didn't know about the life tree and stuff. Though mythology has always been interesting to me.

I dunno I agree with DS on how GTA 4 sucked, at least in comparison to previous GTA games. I haven't played saints rows though. I mean when I played GTA 4 I was hoping for something better than san andreas (the greatest GTA imo)but instead I got better graphics and crappier gameplay.
I mean there was so much content that should have been there and wasn't. Where the hell was my flame thrower for god's sake, or my ability to buy property, or my tank. Just way, way too much missing.

I'm sorry all you FFVII fans but FF7 is not as good as everybody says but I still enjoyed it. Now FF8, that's where it's at :p I loved it's story, so many twists, and absolutely loved the characters. Also add FF12 to the list of overrated POS, that story was crap.
