@rainslacker You should probably look into what Epic has actually been up to. "Pushing Features" ... the main one people were vocal about was user reviews and Epic made them OPT IN by the developers. That's not going forward.
Also I laughed when you said hardcore Fortnite players. It's our daycare for all the children we don't want in our good games.

I can understand wanting the game to feel more alive. Maybe trainers actually out and about battling, and you can possibly see the pokemon they're battling. But random encounters is part of Pokemon. Seeing them walking around is easy mode.
