To get Rage working properly all you needed to do was apply the update, you didn't need to upgrade your GPU just for Rage to work.
We all had the same thing regardless of the GPU used, Rage was just a poorly optimized mess at launch and AMD/nVidia took about a month to get on it.
In Australia you cannot even get into a single game due to the server lag. It doesn't matter what server you select either the game crashes seconds after joining a match each time.
Not to mention that every time the game updates it requires that you download the entire game again. Nearly 40 or 50 gig in a month with the constant updates.
If you are an Aussie avoid this one until we get an Australasian server up or they fix the glaring issues with the game...

PC's and mid to high end gaming parts have never been selling better and on top of that no one with a decent gaming PC has had to go out and upgrade because of the PS4 or X1 because they are already better performance and spec wise.

In Australia major electrical retailers tell people to get a PS4 over and X1 due to the price, the lack of games and that the new live service runs like a steaming bag of crap over here. A good portion of the time the friends bar doesn't even work right and switching between "slides" lags the machine out and does weird things to games. We have decent "enough" 12MB lines here so this is unacc...
A sub division that doesn't make and money is a sub division that doesn't make any money. It doesn't matter how you twist it, going broke and not making profits will send a company under or force it to sell of said sub division.

that full new console price for a 72 pixel increase over last gen in games resolution. that's like 4% or something terrible like that. A 8800GTX maxes this games and that's from 2005/6

all this equates to is reviewers for Xbox games have lower standards and grade all games better than what the are for the sake of sales.
