I'm gonna be honest with you. You can't argue without knowledge and you obviously have none. Based on your current response it's obvious that you don't even have the slightest idea of what is being discussed here.
The first link is an article from 2009 that talks about the low level API on current gen consoles (X360's directX vs PS3's libgcm). The second link is from 2013 and it talks about the low level API on the PS4 (which BTW is the same as the PS3...
@GamingTruth
These consoles use off the shelves parts that have been benchmarked since last year. So is not so hard to determine which console is more powerful and by how much.

Read and learn something. Xbox has low level extensions through DirectX but libgcm is an entire library dedicated to it.
but the title says...!
and there goes the chance of the Xbox to finally have an equivalent to Sony's libgcm.
yeah, Ryse's QTE's (at least in the early demos) had really awful QTE's like those in the vanilla version of Ninja Gaiden 3 (they were removed for Razor). Those kind of QTE are like the worst of the worst.
But interactive drama/movies are video games by definition.

"A video game is an electronic game that involves human interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device."

don't dare to use logic here because you'll only get disagrees and maybe even a bubble lost if it's not what the fanboys want to hear.
complete collection on PS4 is what I'm expecting. Better to have all the games in just 1 console...
this makes you wonder about how mentally stable most N4G users really are. XD
fanboys don't just want their console of choice to succeed but that all the other ones fail.
I want to see a PS4 dismantled. We already know how simple (but huge) the XB1 looks in the inside but I'm intrigued by how Sony arranged the components of the PS4 that even though similar to the XB1's the console is still smaller and it even has the power supply integrated.

because fanboys and other misinformed people.
do you bite the hand that feeds you?
but there are like 40 millions X360 in the USA compared to like only 20 millions PS3. And even then, those percentages are pretty low compared to the disparity in consoles sold on that region.
is there a reason why now Lightning talks like if all her emotions and feelings were stripped away? That last scene when she tries to show some concern about the chocobo it feels so artificial. This is some of the worst and cheesiest voice acting I've heard this gen (including Hope).
do you enjoy the games yourself or through a review? I thought the game was amazing and that's what matters the most.
beat Suikoden III last month and was blown away by it. Although not as good as Suikoden II but III was the last great Suikoden game. V is not that bad though but you can feel it right away that the greatness of the series was already gone....
But anyway, I don't think that Suikoden III needs to be remade. The game had simple mechanics, simple graphics that still look fine today and the story has lots of gray areas which is what makes it be so good just like all the other...
Glad to see some people on this site that actually know what they are talking about. Because I'm telling you, on this site this is rare!
But to me more concise, GPUs are monsters at parallel computation, so they benefits more from higher bandwidth than synchronized memory. Meanwhile CPU can do many kinds of computation at the same time because their cores are fully synchronized, so it benefits more from synchronized memory than memory with higher bandwidth.
between latino friends we often use the word "cabron" to denote each other like "yo cabron what are you doing today" and stuff like that but this is not a word you would use to call someone else you're not friends with or that you don't even know (it's a derogatory word). Well, the same happens with the word "nigga", a word you only use between friends and people you know.
Why is this concept so hard to understand to some people? I do...
too late to complain now.
