aliasing will always be present. These consoles are more powerful but is not like they'll be able to do x16 MSAA at 4k to get rid of them.
They'll be hardly noticeable in motion though.
I understand the part about getting familiar with the tools but the 32MB esRam is just there to bandage the DDR3's bandwidth bottleneck. It'll be like the Cell processor serving as bandage to the much weaker RSX GPU on the PS3. I wouldn't expect any substantial performance boost out of it, just a better balance.
this looks very outdated.
just the other day Ono said that there was no budget for a new fighting game! Man, Capcom are sooo full of it.
after reading your comment I went and watched it and I couldn't even tell if it was a PS3 game or PS4. It looked just as average as always. XD
don't forget about the always godlike "mode 7" that Snes fanboys were always rubbing in the face of the MegaDrive/Genesis fanboys when the blast-processing came in.
I wonder what he means by this:
"And when Xbox One was first announced it had lower specs than PS4, but now they’re almost identical."
What has MS done to the XB1 to make it identical? I don't think a 6.6% clock-speed would be enough.
that's called GPGPU, ALU and most GPU from 5 years ago could already do it. But PC have so much raw power at its disposal that it doesn't need it. Although the PS4 has a more ideal set-up for this kind of computation because of the APU (GPU and CPU on same SoC) and unified Ram.
and let's not forget about the worst case game: Ninja Gaiden 3.
Seriously, this dynamic res stuff is not a good thing AT ALL. Just optimize and use Triple Buffering better like BF4.
thanks in advance for the beta testing.
Obama knows what's up. XD
I was going to buy one anyway for the PC but if it works on PS3 then OMGBBQ!
yo this is huge!
Crysis 3 > Ryse > Killzone, although to run Crysis 3 on ultra you need a PC more powerful than the PS4 and XB1 combined. And even though Ryse looks better than Killzone, Killzone is running at stable 30 frames and 1080p while Ryse is not only sub 1080p but according to previews it has pretty bad frame-rate, so Guerrilla's delivering a better balance. And not to mention that these are only first gen titles, it's only gonna get better from here. Killzone in particular is using onl...
this peasant and master race thing started as joke but now they are actually taking it seriously. XD
I have lost bubbles almost instantly for saying that a game looks generic but this guy is even using bad language and getting agrees for it. This site is so unfair. ;__;
most likely a year or 6 months at the very least.
what Pokemon games need is a difficulty setting because the games are so easy they might as well play by itself.
now this is what I call a very poorly written review.

"There are half a dozen outbursts from Jodie in which she yells at collections of men to stop telling her what to do, and not to treat her like a puppet or a plaything. In any other game, this would be an anvil-sized wink at the camera about the player who is “controlling” Jodie, who has of course been a puppet this entire time."'

WTF? You can literally go paragrap...
of-course it has hardly any aliasing. There are hardly any environments rendered with fine edges and the background is mostly covered in depth of field. *roll eyes
