that's true. He's only talking about DRM from a general perspective.
wasn't GT6 confirmed for PS3 by a Sony rep?
you're probably saying that as a sarcastic funny comment but I have always thought that the only reason Nintendo handhelds always stay relevant is due to Pokemon and now Monster Hunter and Dragon Quest.
I rather play FF13 and its sequels to that boring mediocre piece of crap called FFX-2. Not even joking!
FFX-2 is completely pointless and unnecessary as a sequel, it was simply tacky and out of place. The battle system doesn't even make sense within the rules set by the world of the first game....
models are the same, it only looks cleaner because of the bump in resolution. It was already confirmed that they weren't going to remodel the characters nor improved the lighting like initially stated because of time constraint.

it happens. Sometimes you're just a huge fan of a series that gets destroyed but you still beat the game just because of the name. It happened to me with FF13. Hated the game with a passion but still beat it because of the name. FF franchise was my most favorite franchise ever but not anymore.
on top of it the old PS4 dev kits are only running on 4GB of GDDR5 instead of 8. Even Killzone Sf, a first party, was running on 4 Gigs instead of 8.
very true and those are last-gen games.
Killzone Shadow Fall is 1080p so don't blame the PS4 because Dice has to deal with the inferior hardware of the next-Xbox and make both versions look exactly the same.
PS4 has GDDR5 memory while the next-Xbox is outdated DDR3, on top of it, a weaker GPU too. PS4 GPU is capable of 1.8 Teraflops while the next-Xbox's is 1.2. The gap of power is much more wider than the PS3 vs Xbox 360.
please
lol at people saying that FFX-2 was a good game. Being a fanboy of something is being delusional I see. =|
FFX had branched maps while FF13 was literally a tube so the linearity is nowhere near the same. On top of that FFX has more diverse side-quests (for aeons and weapons), backtracking, exploration, towns, NPC's, shops, better customization, etc. So on that point you couldn't be more wrong. That it wasn't as open as FF7,8,9? True but FF13 was way more linear than FFX.
YET they are now making their own console with Project Shield or whatever....
this should have been a new IP and it would have been better if you ask me. All they did with the reboot was to copy most of Uncharted's elements anyway.
Reynold, Cell was more powerful than the highest caliber core i7 of 2010 (i7 980x). When it came out in 2006 there was no intel CPU that could rival it and even today the Cell is still outperforming many high caliber CPU's on top of being more powerful than the PS4's CPU by quite a large margin. So do your research.
What hindered the PS3 was the crappy GPU and small memory.
and then in a few years when they break (because it's gonna break because the PS3 uses lead free solder) and the only way to buy another one is through Amazon or something only to pay for a used one that could break at any moment too.
if BC wasn't important then the market for the HD collections wouldn't exist. Just think about it....
PS3 was $600 because of the blu-ray drive and the Cell not BC. They removed BC because they were removing anything they could to reduce the price at all cost in a very desperate manner to spur sales.
my phat PS3 is dead and if I send it to Sony they will only give me a slim or something but they will not repair it. =/
I want BC.
what can be said? The FF franchise has the most loyal fans ever.
