PlayStation 4
indeed
I don't play many games and the few I do play I play them on hard to make them last a little longer. I only care about online when it comes to fighting games and nothing more so those often last me the longest. I mean, I've been playing MvC3/UMvC3 for years now and still play it online in between games.
But if I were a reviewer playing multiple games a week I would play them all on easy or normal to beat them fast to write the review. But based on age I really don...
considering that both the next-Xbox and PS4 will either use x86 or x64 architectures then the fact that they will be hacked is a given. If they hacked the PS3 which is mostly custom tech then imagine what they will do to a console which is basically a PC?
I can understand that PS3 is hard to achieve because of the Cell but not even BC for PS1, PS2 and PSN digital releases? The PC can emulate the first 2 through software so why the PS4 can't? Well, of-course it can is just that Sony does not want to do it partly because of the Sony fanboys saying that they don't care about it and then the money they can make by re-releasing old games.
But fans should always ask for more so Sony can deliver, because software emulation sh...
because life is more than just gaming. lol
@Cupid_Viper_3 don't try to bullcrap me. PS3 was expensive because of the Cell's R&D and the relatively new blu-ray drive. What they did with the PS3 to reduce the cost was scrap the barrel because Sony themselves said that BC on PS3 wasn't costly. And even less on later consoles which only had part of the PS2 in it and the rest was emulated through software.
Sony removed BC to be able to sell the HD re-releases and digital re-releases and they will do it agai...
the only thing this article proves is that idiocy knows no bounds. The piece is just a massive contradiction with lots of holes.
FFvs at last?
to me it's important. I was going to buy a PS4 day one but now I think I'm just gonna wait for a price drop since the PS3 will still be getting games like GT6, FFvs and The Last Guardian anyway. I never been much of a fan of racing games or Killzone so in its current state the PS4 has nothing to offer me.
And the fact that the PS4 will not even going to have PS1 and PS2 BC means that Sony's preparing to milk the hell out of us with digital re-releases, online fee...
I don't buy stuff that I don't like but giving my opinion is free. ;)
didn't you see GZ trailer? That's no PS3 or Xbox. That's obviously next-gen consoles or PC but they'll probably make versions for everything like Ubisoft is gonna do with Watch Dogs.
MGR is like playing a DBZ game. That kind of over the top (minus the part of destroying planets) and it really wasn't for me.
What I love about Metal Gear series is how incredibly believable and realistic the sci-fi elements are presented but MGR was like a badly written shonen anime. On top of it Raiden's new personality is really annoying! But overall the story was so bad is sad. They tried to do something with it but ultimately failed miserably. =/
is not just about the money, EA ruins game franchises too. Just look at Dead Space, Dragon Age and that new game insomniac are making.
is Cliffy B making a game for EA or something? lol
they did it at the right time and most gaming websites like Destructoid, GameTrailers, IGN and even Pachter agrees with it.
just let go of old experiences. Those games were good for their time but that doesn't mean that they'll be just as good now because of a graphical overhaul. That's just nostalgia speaking.
why would Sony port their exclusives to PC? lol
They want to sell PS4's not PC's.
@MikeMyers it still has DVD and they both use the same laser.
and way better when you think about the fact that they had to copy Uncharted's formula piece by piece to finally make a decent Tomb Raider game. ;)
But we all knew these kind of articles were coming and that they were going to be on favor of the multiplat game. The same thing happened with inFamous and Prototype... It's a really easy and obvious way to fish for hits. Especially on a site like N4G where the majority of the population are Sony fans and most of these sit...
