Lol, I still honestly don't get the point of "U" in Wii U. I would rather have Wii HD than U. But, in the end I could care less about the name, I'm actually starting to get interested in picking it up, as it feels like its the only console that has a great variety and not just action action. Not saying the games coming are going to be bad at all, just, sometimes a game like Pikmin is what I need haha.

nah, the average consumer will pick up any release of the next "cod" game just because it's cod and that's what their friends are playing. Same with Battlefied, Medal of Honor, Halo etc. Not saying any of those are bad games, but only people who play different multitudes of games are going to say "hey, I want something different." To the average gamer, all they want is new maps, weapons and some upgrades and their good to go.
Blame EA for wanting to compete with Call of Duty every year with the already over-saturated military shooter market. I think it's too early to judge, maybe they'll go future with it and follow the ongoing trend from Modern to Future. Dust 514, Planetside, Black Ops 2, Future Soldier, Crysis 3..
If you can make a video and do that, I'd say it was amazing too :p

On topic: Last of Us is looking great, Naughty Dog just knows how to get cinematic experiences done correctly. I wonder what they could do in the film area.

Yea, the best part about PC gaming for me so far is just how much money you save on games. Still play my consoles all the time, but if there's features on PC that I can't get on consoles, I go for the the PC version.

Yea you really have to wonder what games will be worth a decade from now, maybe even longer. It'll be funny to see the day when gamers of later later generations look at these games as "retro"
