Supposed to be pretty darn challenging, but Gop says it won't be as hard. One of the things I really like that he told us would be the fact that players will basically live and learn. You'll know why you die when you die, there's not all the cheap stuff that happens in the Souls series.
This honestly looks improved even from the Challenge trailer they released a few weeks ago.
Not really, the combat has always looked like it had no power to it, which is how the gameplays. The graphics and story aren't bad, but the gameplay never looked all that great.

Yea can't see much, but it's enough to actually see some live gameplay. From what I saw the animations look really good which is a big deal because action rpg titles like this that use medieval weaponry need good animations for the combat to feel fluid. Dark Souls doesn't really have that.
I'm excited to see what Tomasz Gop does with this game and for what comes after this project as well. Being a lead developer on The Witcher series, this guy knows how to make a good RPG.

Well, keep in mind that Shadowfall was probably made by a smaller part of GG. Considering this new IP has been in development for over two years, I'd expect something good.
Well keep in mind its the month before E3. A LOT of information is getting spread around so rumors will be amok for the month leading up to E3. Happens every year. After E3 though it's pure gameplay information for there on out...for the most part.
But yes, Dualshockers over does it by reporting on just about everything that comes out of an insiders mouth.

Yea I just got my PS4 and am playing through Shadowfall right now. Liked 2 and 3 a whole heck of a lot more than this one. It's not a bad game, but the story is just super boring.

I've talked to Shinobi directly about this stuff, he doesn't even consider himself an insider. He's just got friends in the industry that he talks to, he knows some stuff. And he always makes sure to let you know if he can't 100% confirm, him and Superannuation are the only two we report on.

Don't know about that, the game looks really good and will be running at 1080p/60 fps across all the platforms. Every multiplatform game should try its hardest to have that similar of performance across all platforms, well consoles at least.
Well I run OnlySP so yes I do get paid a little at the moment. Waiting for our partnership with Crave Online to start rolling in the real funds as the amount of traffic we get should at least make me a rather good amount of money for a college student :)

Yea, I think everyone expects great things from Sony already, and I'm sure they'll deliver. Phil Spencer has a lot of pressure on him and he seems pretty confident about everything via Twitter. I'm really interested to see what Microsoft brings to the show. If Halo 2: Anniversary is announced, I'll probably go ahead and make OnlyMP (Only Multiplayer) so I can cover it lol.
That's your opinion on it. When I've played the game, some of the hit detection is totally off and ridiculous. Especially in Dark Souls 2.
