They are first between the two systems that matter. Nintendo has always been its own beast.
The Xbox outsold PS4 in America in November and December...
I'll be honest, I was annoyed that the Metal Slug series was being sold separate on here, yet I still have my PS3 Metal Slug Collection disc that cost me $14.99. Over priced and ridiculous to pay $9 per title. Anyway, as my TVs get larger, these games age more.
I actually liked the Motorstorm franchise...
Literally nothing new though right? Same games...
You spend half of your rant agreeing with the original post while stating that he is wrong.
Anyway, if you think release is 2020, then you are absolutely bonkers to think 16tflops. 8-10 tops, and that would still be a 400-500$ machine if coupled with a decent cpu upgrade and slight RAM increase, and a larger HDD
Cosmetic loot boxes are fine
2k? Why not 4k? I don't see any reason an XBOX 360 game can't run 4k on X.
As for 2k on base models, I wouldn't count on output over 1080p on base.
That is why I used words like "I prefer" and "appeals to me". I never started one is better than the other. But i will say this...
PUBG is way better at adding suspense. I run across a field in that game and I get actual anxiety and fear. Fortnite had a cartoon atmosphere that doesn't lend to suspense and doesn't have a comparable feeling. Good game, just different.
You had me until you said Microsoft isn't paying attention to the majority of players spending habits. After you said that, you banned UC4, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Bloodborne. The first 2 being great games, the third being an ok game. But no matter how you slice it, they aren't representative of the majority of spending. The majority would be games like GTAV Online, and all the much much much bigger titles. SP games such as those mentioned are a drop in the bucket compared to the sales...
Fortnite might run a little smoother, but the cartoon aesthetic is also less demanding.
I think one game will ultimately rise up and own this genre. For now it's PUBG until a AAA does it better.
I think Fortnite is good. However it just doesn't appeal to me in the same way. I love the PVE portion of the game, but i much prefer the realistic art style and handling of PUBG for a game like this. I can't get into a cartoon version of it. It's a good "Nintendo" version of the genre, but for me I prefer the gritty PUBG. If the building were as destructible as doors are, then that would be amazing. Leveling a building with someone on it would be cool.
Baba... No one has
Apparently you don't understand the importance of having a movie attached to the licensed games. You absolutely will see an increase in sales if you launch day and date with a movie, or prior to it. You get more impulse buys based on having seen the movie and being excited from what you just saw. While the game may do ok sales without a movie, it'll definitely do better WITH a movie.
I get his name... Ironic... Now look at my earlier post with my auto correct failure...
Outs nothing like it was when I grew up. I grew up with SF2 in the arcades. MK1. Samurai Showdown. KoF. You name it. Fighting games were huge! Now they barely sell...
LoL @ underwear auto correct...
But anyway, the game ran fine for me from day one. I actually had better, more stable frame rates and I'll rubber banding on launch day than I do now...
I don't underwear how all of their PUBG reviews focus on the stuttering from loading screens and initial players joining, versus how well the game had run pretty much from the start.
The fighting genre in general has died. I used to think of it as the greatest thing ever, but lately the story is the best thing that any of them offer. I loved MK9 for its story that wrapped around through all previous games. But MKX showed me that it truly was the story that hooked me, since I didn't really like X due to the generic feeling story...
Launched in November. December wasn't launch. December shows that it continued to outsell for second month in a row.
