This is laughable...
The maps are 10x the size of Fortnite. I think the map is awesome and adds relevance to starting point. Fortnite is all the same no matter where you are.

If the goal is just to beat the X1X in power, then they are screwed. No way they can release a $500 machine with 2x the X1X power by 2020.
2020 would see a 100-200% increase at best, and that's at $500 which Sony fans state is too high a price. 2022 is likely when we will see an affordable upgrade with decent specs.
So wait, it'll cost another 150$ or so to match the performance of X, and that's not a big price gap. But at the same time, X being 100$ more than the Pro and outperforming it is a huge gap and ridiculous?

To wait, you are saying I can build a machine for 550 or so that will run games at a whopping 1080p 60fps? You do realize that's choosing you more than Xbox One X, and giving you lower performance, right?
Not to mention ease of use and the whole console in your living room experience...
Why does anyone need exclusivity? Why not just license it out based on the game and what the company is good at?
A physics driven Half Life 3 would either need a ton of always on cloud physics, or wait until next gen cpus come out. I want it to kick up a notch.

I don't get how people can argue Fortnite is better, or even as good! Tiny map, cartoon world, no excitement.
Anyway,I don't care about a cosmetic item. It can take a million years for all I care, the game is incredibly fun.
It's a cosmetic... Seriously... I played Fortnite early on and man the chances of getting a legendary weapon was ridiculously low. Alsup almost always paid for. I played Fortnite again recently in battle Royale mode, and man is that map tiny or what? Anyway...

Yeah, they Mario game is also repetitive. Run to the end of the level, jump on the heads of enemies, repeat. And Zelda. Find a dungeon, conquer it, repeat. Horizon Zero Dawn. Travel to an area, kill a robot, repeat. GTAV is repetitive. Steal a car, drive to an object, kill some guys, repeat. Destiny is repetitive. Shoot enemies, repeat. Madden is repetitive. Get the ball in the end zone, stop the opponent from scoring, repeat...
You can literally do that to every game when ...
Well in that case, the next PlayStation already came out and isn't fairing well either. The new Xbox is outselling it by a significant margin.
