Every other developer has managed to learn from their mistakes, and produce HD fluid framerate games. I wonder if there is some sort of negative relationship between EA and Sony.
The Better Business Bureau has several complaints from consumers & EA's products. I think its just a case of they are so huge, why do they need to appease anyone outside of their investors?

It looks bad. You know it, I know it. Everyone knows it.. I had high hopes for this game being farcry w/zombies. Sort of just a fun game, which it still may be. But it literally looks like a mod made for farcry minus the crytek engine. I hope they aren't trying to push this as a to die for title.

This game will not live up to the Halo3 hype train. Its going to be an OK game at best. They removed that key part that made the game look interesting. The part they showed that was shown earlier this year. That is what made this game look interesting. All games aren't made of gold. Especially 360 ones.

The world is expecting so much from the 360 after Halo3. It looks like they removed the good part from the game, turn it into a shooter with some strategy elements. The voice acting and animations are terrible. The enviornments are terrible. This is all understandable because the engine is chugging down on the high poly characters. The characters are top notch.
I'd love to get my hands on this and see how much of this is really like Wing Commander. These guys are acting like ch...

Three different variations of him jumping/landing across the platforms. I know there are a tons more landing animations from seeing the other videos. Animations don't make a game, but it sure as hell is nice glue that is tying it all together!

I am seriously not spamming this site, but its great to see the averages of games. Not just what IGN/Gamespot says.
I shouldn't have listed it next to FF. I just meant those games in General I've never been into. checkout www.metacritic.com. Folklore has a ton of 40-60%'s. I think fans of the genre, such as yourself. Will appreciate what the games have to offer, vs reviewers who only know what a western FPS is.
But it doesn't seem like you would buy the game anyway. If you played the demo, you will buy this game. I'm never into games like FF/Kingdom hearts etc. It looks entertaining, but I just hate battle systems with turns and battle damage. It was pretty easy to pickup the lores and use them. Just didn't blow the world over.

If you sat down your average consumer. One that is aware of what "Gigabytes" are.. and said "What is the difference between 20 gigs, 40 gigs, 60 gigs and 80 gigs..." The response surely wouldn't be "I don't know, I am confused!" They may not know the ins and outs, but they will know the reason it is named such. Storage space. Especially when all products for the masses are marketed by gigs. See Ipod, Digital Cameras, and other devices.

I think at this point in games. We can look at videos and know exactly how its going to play. This is one game I plan to lock all of my doors on.
I love that they finally understood that they can add multiple animations to a character doing the same task, just as they would in real life. If anything, this is a good new genre of game that future developers will mold into things I cant imagine. The platform part of this game for me seems stunning, and then how it flawlessly turns into gunplay. With Tombraider, gunplay really felt secondary.
